Percy Harvin Traded to the Seahawks
From CBS Minnesota via rotoworld.
Apparently he split the locker room by lashing out at Frazier.
I've been planning this for months for Seattle. I'd even be fine with giving up No. 25. Yes a million other teams would be in including NE but they might not be willing to give up a lot for him considering he's always banged up.
Harvin to Seattle for 25. Do it.

I won't get my hopes up but I want him on the Pats badly.

Yeah I'd say a late 1st is probably the starting point for discussions.

God, i hope that we end up with more than the #25 pick for him. Yeah, he's a malcontent & is perpetually "questionable" (perfect fit for Belichick & his injury report games), but the guy is a top talent & hopefully the Vikings get a higher return.

I think that offer would get him. As good as Harvin is, there is a lot of baggage. I could ultimately see him going for a 2nd +

Come on Rams grab him!! Bradford loves his slot and with Danny being a FA we need him.

He could potentially even hold out if his new team doesn't extend him lol. Not to mention the q tags, history of being disgruntled, the migraines. And more importantly, you're going to pay in picks money or both for a WR who doesn't really win outside. Yes he does everything else but when you add it all together his trade value isn't as high as I'd he was just that talent in a vacuum.
And in a vacuum he really can't move and would be surrounded by dust so who would want him then either?
Teams will want him but is be mildly surprised if he really netted a first. Happy if it would be Seattle though.

Well, I suppose if you think you can survive with Jerome Simpson being your number 1 receiver, all the power to you. I do think he'd be a good fit in Cincy or Miami, if we're talking teams.

I'd like to have him on the 49ers. San Francisco has a lot of draft picks to play with this year as they have the most of any team. I don't see it happening though. I think SF might go defensive heavy in the draft and free agency.

I'd rather use the 25th pick on Keenan Allen than Percy Harvin.

If we trade Harvin we won't go into next year with Jerome Simpson as our #1 receiver.

Injury prone, locker room headache, and will probably want a big contract soon. Glad the Falcons won't be interested.

Entering the last year of his contract I believe, you'd have to give up a high pick and then extend him to a huge contract....I'd rather sign Bowe or Wallace for similar cash and keep my 2nd round pick. Hopefully the 49ers agree.

Because AD is going to be able to go on all time runs on a regular basis.

When's the last time you signed an impact receiver? Vikings have zero history of it.

We tried to get Houshmanzadeh when people still thought he was good. But for the majority of my lifetime we haven't had a need to sign FA receivers.

Yes you have, otherwise you wouldn't have overpaid Michael Jenkins or Jerome Simpson.

The Vikings haven't had a need to sign a WR? LOL Is that because they have been so stacked at talent at that position?

Pretty sure we could get a potential #1 with one of our two first rounders, assuming we got one with this trade. I'd love a first round of Hopkins and Patterson or Allen.
