You mean playoff teams have better defenses and thus allow fewer points? Lies.

Wasn't like his offense was something unique or impressive either. Cameron was a nice hire, but there's a reason he got fired in the middle of a title run and is a college OC now. He'll probably be a huge improvement because LSUs offensive schemes have been a joke for a while now, but I wouldn't go around bragging about a Cam Cameron led offense.

He's awful as a football coach, this has been established everywhere he has ever been. When LSU sucks on offense despite having more talent than 11 of 14 SEC teams don't be surprised.

this is terrible. you say its his offense and that they won a superbowl with it. the ravens fired him because they didn't think he was good enough to run his own offense. i know you're a massive lsu homer, but c'mon man.

I haven't been surprises since 07 but the numbers show he's a good coach. So I'll post them again. also he got fired because he had philosophical differences with John.
Total Offense / Scoring Offense
San Diego (2002-2006)
2002- 16 / 20
2003- 14 / 16
2004- 10 / 3
2005- 10 / 5
2006- 4 / #1 (30.8 PPG, next closest was Chicago and Indy 26.7)
Dolphins - Head Coach (2007)
2007- 28 / 26
Trent Green was injured forcing Cleo Lemon and John Beck to play QB
Baltimore Ravens (2008-2012)
2008- 19 / 18
2009- 13 / 9
2010- 22 / 16
2011- 15 / 12
2012- 16 / 10

stop it bert, you're making my eyes bleed.
why are you making things up? well i know why, but still. when did i say 25 ppg was terrible?
but anyway, how much of those points can be credited to cameron? give him brady quinn and he will probably average less than 25 points a game. most of how well the offense actually does is based around the quality of the players they have. however, the thing that cam cameron is responsible for is what plays are called and when. the ravens have evaluated him late in the season and decided that he isn't very good at doing that. and then you decide to throw meaningless stats at me and say im acting dumb. ahhhhh.

Replace Florida with Oregon and your list is the exact same as mine.

replace Brees with Chase Daniel and we aren't near as good. PAYTON SUCKS WITHOUT BREES.
if stats were meaningless they wouldn't keep them. and throwing out an offensive coordinator's offensive rank and ppg are meaningless? really?

So as your justification you use his time in San Diego when they were best known for their regular season success and then choked when it mattered most. Cameron is yet another in Miles long line of OC failures since he lost Jimbo.

Norv ran the offense in SD. His last job his HC and QB didn't like him and he was fired midseason, the job before that he failed epically and was fired after one year. Cameron will probably do well at LSU, but he's been a failure at his last 2 stops so hyping him up before he's even coached at LSU is fairly premature. At least wait till spring ball to see what he does.

Norv and Cameron had no overlap in San Diego.
Cameron was his QB Coach at Washington where he made Heath Shuler one of the biggest busts in Draft history though.

Kind of surprised UT is low on that list considering we have to go to Alabama and Oregon. That's brutal.
