No joke. I was listening to Lonerism (Keep on Lying, to be specific) when I entered this thread... It really is. I am hoping that the rumors of them playing Roo are true, they must be an incredible live show.

I use the CD player in my car every day, barely listen to the radio. But that is the only CD player I use. I buy the CDs of bands that deserve my money, and that's where I play them.

RCE is a great, great band, they kinda remind me of The Head and the Heart, with a little bit of The Avett Brothers and Blind Pilot in there, really cool music that is real easy to get into.
The Sheepdogs are a favorite of mine, I love their music, especially the bass player. He helped me with the instrument as much as any of the players I listen to. Everything about The Sheepdogs I love, the instrumentation, lyrics, harmonies, one of my favorites for sure, might have to stick their album back in sometime soon.
Fitz and the Tantrums are a real interesting band. Hearing their album stuff, I didn't think too highly of them, but after seeing them at Roo and Firefly last year I got a new appreciation for them. All of them struggle with their voice a little live (nothing off-putting enough for me though), but the music is great and they have so much energy that its made me listen to them more than I would have if I hadn't.
I saw the Milk Carton Kids open for the Lumineers and Old Crow Medicine show (yeah, it was awesome). and I was impressed by these guys. I hadn't heard too much about them going in but they are great complimentary guitarists, who like you said can sing absolutely incredible. They seem like two cool guys too, lots of personality and character between those two on stage, during their music and while interacting with the crowd.
I'm listening to the ones that I don't recognize as I type this, but this is already one of the best posts in the last few pages of this thread.

Did anybody watch The Grammys last night? I thought the tribute performances were all great, but the tribute to Levon Helm with Mumford, Zac Brown, Britney Howard, and everyone was just unreal, one of the coolest things on the Grammys in years, and totally made watching the Grammys worth it. The Black Keys, Dr. John and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band absolutely killed it too, but The Weight was just amazing to watch.

jack white's performance was my favorite. His energy and intensity on the stage is unmatched.
Jack white absolutely rocked, didn't mean to leave that out, either. The look of his face and in his eyes is something you don't see anymore. When I saw him at Firefly I was close enough I was able to follow his eyes and you can almost see the wheels turning in his head when he performs. Its incredible to see. But Seeing everyone together for the weight was great, seeing the looks on everybody's faces when eachother were singing, everyone who was a part of that had so much fun. Even T-Bone Burnett had a huge grin that whole time.
