If Jones is healthy enough to go top 10, he's gotta go 3rd overall to Oakland. They need that outside pass rush, especially with the defense most likely becoming much more 3-4 oriented.

steelers would certainly take vaccaro over elam, and then teo, patterson, and allen as well
i like elam in the second, not sure how happy i would be using a first on him though

Great Saints pick! I think Jordan is a solid fit inside the 1-gap, 3-4 scheme the Saints will employ. He can rush the passer and drop back into coverage. Great pick!

I know you are not, but I think he might be the best fit of all the OLBs in the first round for the scheme we intend to employ. We know that he is solid in coverage and he can rush the passer. He is very fluid, has long arms, and in some ways reminds me a bit of Chandler Jones. He will have to be taught hand placement but it is something he can learn. I think he will flourish in our scheme if he is drafted.

It technically fits a need, but that's far too early for Trufant. If we want to take him, we should trade down.

no complaints with the giants pick, might prefer Floyd at DT, but couldn't complain about Johnson

I'd prefer Montgomery, but the position is correct. I just have a "bust" feeling about Jordan.

Maybe a little bit of a reach on Jesse Williams to Houston, but the Texans haven't had a real NT yet, and we are entering year 3 of Wade Phillips' 3-4 defense. I'd be ok with that pick.

No chance the Lions would take Fisher over Werner, Milliner, or Warmack.

Solid pick for us at 2. Right now, if you don't give us Keke Mingo (the early favorite) or Star in a mock, you're doing it wrong.

Mixed feelings about the SF pick. It is good value but if we re-sign Goldston then it's not an immediate need.

It is interesting, I feel that way about Montgomery, sort of. I just do not see him as a dynamic pass rusher. I think he will at best be a guy who averages 6-8 sacks a season.

I didn't consider Barret Jones a great pick even before he had to have surgery. Pretty much every pick after him other than Austin and Minter would be better.

Maybe not Millner, but definitely over the other 2. I don't expect Werner to go top 10 though. No way we take an OG over a stud LT prospect though.
