Basically. Pretty sketch move by him. Need to get a real QB or WR coach in here now.

I was excited to see Cristobal at the U. Would have probably been promoted within a year to a real position.

Not take a job at his alma mater and say how much he wants to be there and then leave for a better offer.

He tried to force Rutgers' hands as well last year. Guy is an ass.

Same could be said for your current OC.

There's a bit of a difference in leaving a job after a few months and a few years.
I don't blame Mario for taking the Bama job, just don't think he should have taken the UM job if him leaving in a few months was an option.

Cristobal's move is much more lateral. Why would their OC stay at FSU while Jimbo calls plays. Calling plays is actually important to some people, and it helps them get better jobs.

Supposedly this is true, been with Petrino everywhere and seems to be pretty respected around the coaching world. Doubt it will be as an OC and likely just OL coach.
Hopefully we still bring in a real offensive coordinator.

Funny how the coaching cycle works...
Chicago Bears offer FSU WR Coach Lawrence Dawsey their WR Coach job, he declines. Bears then offer Alabama WR Coach Mike Groh who accepts. Alabama hires FSU TE Coach Billy Napier as their new WR Coach. Now FSU is looking at former Minnesota HC Tim Brewster as their new TE Coach.
Yesterday FSU poached Tennessee RB Coach (and former Vol great) Jay Graham as their new RB Coach. Which means former UK/UT OC Randy Sanders will likely be moving to the vacant QB Coach position. No OC has been named as of a yet.

Michigan's DL coach Jerry Montgomery has accepted the same position at Oklahoma. His coaching ability won't be missed (not because he isn't a good coach) but he was a solid recruiter.
Also, Michigan State is expected to hire Jim Bollman as their offensive coordinator, lol.

Almost every offensive line the guy has ever coach severely underacheived and now some team is giving him control of their entire offense. I kind of feel bad for Sparty.
Oh wait, no I don't.
