Most productive in terms of sacks. Washington was asked to play a roll, but look at the physica ability he had? I'm suggesting that Jones was freed up to do his thing because they could afford to let him do so with the awesome talent around him. Ogletree and the S's could clean up what he missed.

This is an absurd claim. Being both a die hard Broncos and UGA fan, Miller is a far better run stopper. Jarvis gets washed out of plays too easily and plays undisciplined mostly due to scheme, but it is with reckless abandon, and he often takes himself out of running lanes. He won't get away with it at the next level. Jarvis lacks Von's elite first step and elite bend around the corner. Von plays lower to the ground while Jarvis stands upright and tends to hand fight too much rather than getting off blocks. Jarvis is not the same player as Von. Von is a better pass rusher and a more complete player. However Jarvis just makes plays all over and its a knack he has. I like Jarvis a lot and he is a top ten player in this draft, but he is not Von Miller.

Jarvis Jones was the best player on UGA's defense. I don't care how you word it and spin it. There's a reason he was named DPOTY in a conference loaded with talented defenders.

Yeah, he was allowed to rush the QB more than anyone else on the team and he did a good job. But the last time I checked, we were discussing his PRO potential.

You might not like what I said, but it's true. The reason he was named DPOTY is because he was freed up by an incredibly talented Georgia defense and allowed to rush the passer. If I'm a shooter and I throw up 37 shots, I better score 30 points. "Overrated clap clap clap-clap-clap" Check this out:

Steelers GM Kevin Colbert views the team's starting right outside linebacker position as an "open competition" between Jarvis Jones and James Harrison.
It's telling that Jones has to hold off a 37-year-old just to keep his job. The 17th overall pick in the 2013 draft, Jones has been exposed as a sub-NFL-caliber athlete through two seasons while also battling myriad injuries. He has three sacks in 21 games and looks every bit a draft bust. PFF gave Jones a positive pass-rush grade in just one of his seven 2014 appearances.

Hey Scott, hot any openings?

Kaepernick is this years pat white. Thin, gimmick offense and doesn't possess an nfl arm. The ncaa constantly regurgitates clones of past players and amazingly enough, tricks some people into thinking they're better than their cloned half. Kaepernick was a complete waste of a senior bowl qb spot. A better qb will come from the east/west shrine or whatever they're calling it now...count on it

Jarvis was much improved to start the season last year...was one of the only competent run defenders on the defense, had 2 sacks and FF...he dislocated his wrist on a strip sack of $cam Newton and then they signed harrison.

Not having full strength in his wrist really made him not very effective when he returned, so harrison who was playing good ball and worilds who made a career of being ineffective were the two OLBs.

He needs to pick up where he started 2014, not where he ended it. Theres talks of moving him to ROLB, they will keep Harrison at LOLB and rotate Moats/Jones.

They will still likely take an OLB in rounds one or two, but this is a big year for Jarvis. He really did improve his technique to start the year off last season. Im glad he had porter and harrison to learn from
