^This. The longer I think about it, the more and more I'm trying to make it possible to do both Roo and Firefly. Firefly isn't anything compared to Roo, but last year it was great considering it was their first year. The headliners aren't as big this year, but the card is so ******* deep.

Firefly's lineup is pretty decent, but $260 is just way too much in my mind. That said, I'm heading to Austin next week for SXSW and am hoping to attend Forecastle ($125-$180) in July.

Hobbes, I will be at the free Flaming Lips show. It will be good not seeing you there.

I do recommend that you attend that. The Flips put on a great live performance and that venue is pretty cool.

Saw Flaming Lips at Bonnaroo in '09 when they played DSotM and will likely see them at SXSW. Love 'em.

Also went to Forecastle last year, and it was one of the better-run festivals I've been to, considering the small scale.
