I like Nate Thompson. I'd enjoy him in my bottom-6.

Now is as good of a time as any for Saad to double his career output.

Saad has been playing pretty fantastic all year. Just not getting the points.

Hodgson had a beauty goal, but of course it came against a powerplay unit with 30 seconds left while down multiple goals. Still nice.
Stephen Weiss is out for the year, so Florida won't even be able to trade him as they hang out at the bottom of the conference. I wonder how much interest he would have gotten. Was very good in the playoffs last year but the injury appears to have been really affecting him.

Boston blowing that lead to Washington is fun. Pretty nice winner in OT was a great topping.
I hope Staal's eye did not explode.

Three of Chicago's next six games are against Colorado. Dates with Columbus, Edmonton, and Dallas are mixed in. Yeesh. Who pulls the upset?

Seems just about right for the avs, come in on a losing streak, end a record breaking winning streak get enough people excited to think we'll get into the playoffs again and then Joe Sacco and the Hunwick-O'Byrne pairing tank us back out of the playoffs.

That's absolutely true. However, I am going to choose to enjoy this while it is happening rather than just worry about a future I cannot control.

Don't blame you. Live it up.
I just remember the same excitement and enthusiasm in Michigan last year when the Wings didn't lose at home for like 4 months and were sitting atop the West until injuries derailed them.

Atlantic rivalries play today, should be good stuff. I'll probably end up watching the Sabres and Devils see who can pull out a 2-1 shootout win. Though the last game was actually pretty entertaining with some bad blood set up, so who knows!

It is always fun when Kessel comes back to Boston.
