Wells is no good. Not someone I want on the team.
Jackson's a pipe dream. Wish it were true though.
I havnt seen Connor play much at all since leaving Penn State. Don't know what to think there. A serviveable body at a position of need that will come cheap.

We released Colon, and will resign Burress soon.
With all these moves, I think we have enough cap room to resign Lewis an also a couple low-key free agents. I'd like to get either Victor Butler from Dallas or Lawrence Sidbury from Atlanta to try out at OLB.

We resigned Larry Foote. Also, Foster's deal is for a total of $6 million, far more manageable than Colon's.

Antoine Winfield was just released, I'd love to look into him. Maybe his past with Tomlin would help.

I'd love bringing in Steven Jackson, but it probably won't happen. Beanie, he's ok. Big back, but often injured. Basically a more talented Dwyer, IMO.
Our priority still has to be to lock up our guys. I read somewhere that we were gonna let the market determine the price for some guys, like Lewis. Hopefully with the saturated CB market he'll be relatively cheap.

Also, if his market doesn't really develop, I'd be interested in Urlacher. I know he's a fossil, but still.

I was thinking more 2004ish than last year with these moves.
Definitely not a fan of giving Foote a multi year deal. Not even sure how its happening. Just dumb.

Ya I don't think foote will see year 2 and 3. Probably just to help with cap.

lol I was thinking the same thing with the draft picks. Rumored to be in the range of 13mil a year. Ridiculous overpay.
I'd love Jackson but that's never going to happen. He's going to want too much and we don't have that much to spend. Connor could be a good pick up and shouldn't be that expensive.

Can't believe Wallace got that deal, but I can't blame the guy for wanting to get paid. Good god, that's a lot of money.

Wallace's deal is ********. I'd have loved him back but not for anything close to that. That's an insane amount of money for a receiver that really hasn't developed since his rookie year.
Ravens are a completely different team. Really handing the team to Flacco now. Steelers Ravens has officially turned into Ben vs Flacco
Gradkowski visiting. There's someone I'd rather have on the bench than Lefty and play him over Batch.

I agree that Wallace was overpaid but he's a more complete receiver than people give him credit for. He struggled last year, yeah, but he's still, IMO, a top ten receiver in the league. Arguably the best deep threat too.
Gradkowski is interesting, I guess that means both Batch and Leftwich are gone, if we are to believe Colbert will get a younger QB.

I expect Kellen Davis to be signed next. We wanted him last year and now he's a FA again. He'd be a nice target to have.
I also expect one of the linebackers to be signed.
Thanks to mendenhall, Wallace, and Lewis, well have three decent picks.
