Thanks to mendenhall, Wallace, and Lewis, well have three decent picks.

eh, mendy signing a 1 year wont get us anything
wallace will get us a 3rd - he would have to literally **** the bed for us not to get that
and lewis idk - that CB market is so saturated itll be interesting to see what he gets

Tomlin is taking Dion Sims and Le'Veon Bell to dinner tonight. I'm sure that means something, right?

I love both those guys, hopefully we get them. Both are big dudes for their respective positions.
Glad to see the CB market is moving slowly, good for our chances of keeping Lewis.
As for the comp picks, we'll probably get one for a QB (seventh), first pick possible for Wallace, fifth or sixth for Mendenhall, late one for Starks (if/when he gets signed), and a couple others depending on who else leaves (Lewis, Mundy, etc.)
I absolutely love having a bunch of picks, even if they're late picks. We could be looking at 11+ if we don't sign a lot of guys.

i doubt we get anything for a qb since we signed gradowski to what im assuming will be = if not more than lefty will get
starks will likely sign for the vet min IF he signs = he wont get us anything
mendy signed for 1 year /2.5 mil and we prolly wont sign a rb... we may get a 7th
lewis is the wildcard... anywhere from a 4th to a 6th imo

Doesn't look like lewis is going anywhere. I think agents are waiting on what revis gets.

Victor Butler is visiting tomorrow, hopefully he doesn't leave without a deal.

Same. Players usually don't visit if a deal isn't going to get done. I don't think he'll cost too much. Would love this love because we could hold off on OLb in the draft.

would absolutely love victor butler...very steeler-esque signing there, he could be a stud in our defense and would be an upgrade over carter and worilds

We apparently gave Beanie Wells a physical but we didn't offer a deal.

The Chiefs just signed Sean Smith, that'll set the market price for CBs right now.

Lewis gets a 5 year deal in NO.
I'm glad Beanie didn't get a deal. There's a few other backs I'd rather have, and is much rather go with a rookie there. With Jackson off the market, id really be looking toward the draft for a RB.
Butler would be a nice signing.

Welp, there goes Lewis. Not too big a contract, but we probably couldn't match it. Also, I think signing Willie Gai will negate a pick for him, but I'm not entirely sure how it works. Hopefully we get a fourth or fifth for him.

Gai won't take away a pick because he was released.

Mike Gambardella @BIG3Sports
Getting word that Emmanuel Sanders has signed an offer sheet with the #Patriots. #Steelers will have a chance to match. No $/years yet.

#Steelers not be informed that Emmanuel Sanders been presented offer sheet by Patriots let alone signed one. Pats have to notify immediately

This says otherwise.
