I'm very late to the party on this one, but Kendrick Lamar is so ******* legit. One of the best lyricists in music, regardless of genre. He's one of the best storytellers in music right now as well, which is something I really appreciate. He's got the benefit of Dre and his money supporting him, but he is an artists who deserves the opportunity for that type of support. He's probably my favorite hip hop/rap artist right now, in all honestly. I don't listen to much (probably much less than the regulars in this thread, anyway) but of what I do listen to, he's one of my favorites.

I just heard that Tyler the Creator song (actually saw that video from a friend) the other day and though I'm not familiar with him or his music, that song is pretty good. He seems like he could be a pretty big asshole from what I've heard about him, but I can tell he's got talent in his writing as well.
