Boring draft for the Bears. One thing Emery has shown is that he values Height/weight/speed guys (Jon Baldwin, McClellin, Jeffery). This draft is pretty void of that type of upside player. Fluker would have fit until I saw him at the combine. Didnt look like an explosive athlete. Good football player though. So is Teo but again not explosive. 2nd LB and a TE seems like wasted picks. Bears have about 9 LBs and 7 TEs in camp.

They've said they are adding a WR with speed and I'd imagine they'll want to add to the 3 DTs on the roster

Great Jets draft except for Nassib. Nooooo thanks using a 2nd on a likely career backup. Not buying the Greg Cossell hype on him at all, I think he's secretly Nassib's agent the guy is an absolute scrub.

Seattle could do that. I don't personally like Ertz much but they could definitely do that. I LOVE Williams in the third.

Jarvis Jones is great
Should definitely be Justin Hunter over Terrence Williams
Franklin is excellent
Swearinger, Washington, Reddick, Lattimore, and Gholston would all be perfect in 4 or 5...dont really love the devin taylor pick

This rookie CB for the Falcons will have no choice but to play heavily. We need one before round four.

No chance Bills move up to draft Gino, if anything we would glady move back and collect an extra pick or 2. If he is there when we pick at #8 we have to have the conversation but in the end i think we address a different need and grab a QB in the 2nd.

I agree that they will not trade up, down if anything or even possible with the first pick, and trade up from the second or later if at all. Why trade up to leap frog Arizona? They just traded for and gave Palmer starting money... It was possible two weeks ago, although I do not think the Bills are high on Smith at all, Marrone has openly praised Barkley, even stating that he thought Barkley would have challenged Luck for #1 last year. Praise for Nassib as well, obviously. Unless their master plan is to get everyone to think that they are going to take Smith based on specultion and percieved need/availability, then its working...

Dallas made a ton of odd choices given the board and their visits thus far. My comments for each pick in bold.

Excellent value on the pick although I can't foresee Dallas passing on Terron Armstead here.

80 Dallas - Mike Glennon QB North Carolina State
This pick makes zero sense. Dallas has Romo on a long-term deal and Orton locked in as his backup. Look for Dallas to target a late round/UDFA as a project QB. Barrett Jones would be a borderline lock here if Dallas has visited the interior line previously.

114 Dallas - Monte Ball HB Wisconsin
Dallas is linked with a ton of scat-backs or jitterbug types and Ball is certainly not that. Dallas has had visits with Sean Porter and Jordan Hill and both would be favorable picks.

151 Dallas - Conner Vernon WR Duke
Vernon doesn't match the physical profile that Dallas typically targets in wide-outs. Given that Le'Von Bell is available and visited with Dallas I'd say he'd be a safe pick here. Lattimore would probably get a heavy look given the risk/reward here as well. Josh Boyce was also invited to "Dallas Days" for local prospects so he will get a hard look.
Personally I'd say:

18) Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
47) Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
80) Barrett Jones, C/G, Alabama
114) Jordan Hill, DT, Penn State
151) Le'Von Bell, RB, Michigan State

Overall you certainly targeted the right positions aside from going early on QB. Nicely done.

Like the first three rounds for Pitt, although I don't think value of a third round running back is much better than a 4th or 5th round running back. 4th or 5th rund they would go for safety before d-end or CB, and there are certainly some much higher rated safeties at that point than the people you have them choosing (Swearinger, Williams, and Wilcox in the 4th and Jefferson in the 5th).

if the Pats did not address the CB position, there would be riots in New England. I guess Hopkins works (I am not a big fan) but that's the only remotely solid choice on there

Decent Denver picks except that Broncos aren't drafting a TE high. They signed two to long term deals last year and they like their young ones.

I'm not sure if I like the Vikings trading up given all our needs, but if they really love Patterson I wouldn't hate going up to get him. Not a huge fan of Sylvester in the first, and I don't know if Slay is worth a second, but I don't hate the players and love the positions.

Pretty much dislike every pick.

I really like the Trufant pick he can play the slot as a rookie and then take over on the outside. I don't like the Allen pick he doesn't really give the Niners anything they don't already have. Justin Hunter would be a better pick if you are going WR. LOVE Shamarko Thomas. Taylor doesn't make a lot of sense when the team is loaded at RB, and they have two power backs on the roster they really like. Pryor is an interesting pick to fill the H role, not sure about it.

Love the Barrett Jones pick in the 3rd for the Giants. He is a classic giant- smart, versatile, and hungry to win. Eifert is great value in the 2nd and i could still see us taking him despite the signing of Myers this off season.

I'm down with Okafor. Swearinger is a good pick too. I'd take Stedman Bailey over Goodwin though in the 3rd.

A couple more thoughts: Not a fan of the trade for a couple reasons; 1 - I dont think Arizona takes him at 7, thier cap numbers for QB's would be 15+ I believe with the Palmer and Stanton signings, then add 5-6ish for a first round rookie QB, I dont see it, so why give up assets? 2 - I think they like Barkely better, and there is better value on the board. IMO they are more likely to move up from the second or wait until 41 for a QB, or take L. Jones in the 4th, maybe use a pick in 2014 to move up for Wilson or Manual/Glennon (ew...). Smith is possible at 8 if he is there, but I dont think probable. IMO, if they moved up to 6, it would be for L. Johnson.

I like Pugh in the 2nd round, although he is as close to a Levitre clone as there is in this draft and a fit regardless, I just dont see how they pass on Eifert there, his value is just too great IMO. I love Collins as a prospect, I believe he is a first round value, which makes him a steal in the 3rd round IMO, and a great pick, particularly in the value category.

If they came out of this draft with Johnson, Eifert, Collins and some move for T. Wilson (whom B. Nix has spoken of very positively), that would be phenominal IMO.

Thats my extra .02 for what its worth.
