Default Ka'Deem Carey, RB, Arizona

Ka'Deem Carey, RB Arizona
5'10 200 4.50
Consensus All American; led nation in rushing and school record 23 TDs in 2012

+ Capable receiever out of the backfield
+ Feet are always moving
+ Breaks arm tackles

- Runs tall/upright
- Plays in option offense coached by Rich Rodriguez
- Three off the field incidents since the conclusion of 2012 season; alleged domestic violence incident with pregnant ex-girlfriend, started over getting a lighter to smoke illegal substance (July 12 trial date); kicked out of Arizona/UCLA basketball game after argument with police office after not providing tickets; ticketed for expired registration and no proof of insurance

* - junior in 2013

More quick than fast, elusive runner with good hips. Jury is still out on pass protection. Running style isn't a problem, protects the balls well. Always fighting to get the extra yard, and runs hard through arm tackles. Great balance and awareness. Has lined up in the slot, but his hands are better out of the backfield. Off the field problems came in a bunch this offseason, so it sounds like his status on campus has gotten to his head. Poised for a big campaign in 2013 if he can stay healthy and out of trouble.
