Yay, great to hear. Went to middle school with him. I somewhat knew him, he was a year older than me but we played ball against each other in practice. Happy for him, really nice kid. Hope he gets drafted at a decent pick.
Oh no...I can see it now. We'll find out that GR3's AAU coach is on the Michigan payroll, they're going to be sanctioned, and the program is going to become irrelevant for another 15 years. Another Final Four banner will be buried in a basement somewhere in Ann Arbor.
Edit: After reading the article, it sounds like the money was to steer him toward specific agents and financial advisers? That has nothing to do with Kansas and I'm sure that these blue chip prospects are getting all kinds of high interest loans from their future handlers. Hell, LeBron James just straight up went to a bank and took out a loan when he was a senior in High School.
Mike Moser is transferring to Oregon. I don't think it's that big of a loss because UNLV treated this past season as his last season. The coaches thought he'd have another good season after his breakout 2012-13 breakout campaign and enter the NBA Draft. They've already recruited his replacement(s).
