Looking at the senior crop of linebackers today, Khalil Mack is a player who really stood out in the action I watched. I expected more out of Anthony Barr when I watched his games, and I know he's still new to the position. I'd like to see him add more physicality to his game as a senior.

Devante Parker is a guy that i am intrigued by. he gets vertical on DBs and is a big target.

After Tavon Austin went so high this year, could Jalen Saunders be a first round selection in 2014?

I'm biased towards west coast players but i think the two best lbs for getting to the QB are Anthony Barr and Morgan Breslin. Throw in your obligatory couple of guys from Alabama and it should be a position of strength this year.

I sorta feel like Anthony Barr is what people wanted Dion Jordan to be.

No. He way thinner than Austin and not as good of a runner. He's very much like DeSean Jackson, though. Was a deep threat at Fresno State.

I think the top guys are the two you mentioned, Kyle Van Noy and Adrian Hubbard.

Hubbard is a really violent player who seems to be better at setting the edge and using a bull rush, but with another year could develop into a good pass rusher.

Van Noy is better dropping in coverage than rushing IMO, he doesn't have a good base and once he's blocked he stays blocked, but he is a high impact player when he gets going

On some level i'm a little leery of Tide LBs but Hubbard and Mosley seem like the real thing. I'd be tempted to throw hometown guy Josh Shirley in there too as i think he'll have a big year.

I haven't seen a mention of Demarcus Lawrence, DE from Boise State (6-3, 244). He 9.5 sacks last season, but didn't play the whole season because of discipline issues.

If he stays healthy and out of trouble, he could be a late first rounder.

I do like the wr Matt Miller there in Boise. Reminds me a little of Jordy Nelson.

I'm excited to see Stanford ILB Shayne Skov another year back from that acl tear. He was lacking some of the explosion last year that he had prior. He can be a playmaker if he gets that burst back.

OLB Trent Murphy has the size to be a successful player at the next level.

I thought Murphy faded a bit late last year, you'd know better than me. he could be poised for a big year coming up.

I wonder why Quandre Diggs isn't being talked about as a top CB prospect in this class.

2 seasons
72 solo 8 INT 22 PBU 2 FF

Thomas is good but look at Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps, everyone talked about them in college football and now look at them in the NFL. Still early but both have done nothing, and Thomas like I said originally has to show he can be a slot receiver because he is not as physically tough as Austin is and is not as good of a route runner so I doubt he could be a change of pace as a running back like the Vikings used to do with Harvin. Dangerous yes but not as tough or physical as some other small receiver all purpose guys are.

Demps and Rainey are not doing great yet I feel because neither one could be a slot receiver and both are not physical enough to run the ball consistently

But for sure, Thomas has a chance to be in the 1st round if he keeps getting better and proving he can play as a slot receiver and not a running back type.
Thomas will more than likely convert over to WR come draft time.

He's really short, and got abused by Donte Moncrief, especially in jump ball situations.

He's still a top-tier CB to me despite being short. I guarantee by the time the season goes underway we'll be talking about him as a 1st Rounder.

I'll be surprised if Aaron Lynch gets outside of the top 10 whether he comes out this year or next. Guys gonna be a monster this year.

Charles Sims and LaDarius Perkins are my two favorite senior backs I've watched so far.

His talent is top notch, but his attitude is not. If he has matured since he was dismissed, then he has a chance. If he is the same idiot that was at Georgia, he'll be another wasted talent.

Michael Dyer is the one I'm excited about for the RB's.

Just watched some footage on San Jose State CB Bene Bewikere.....

He's very quick, physical and plays the ball well when it's in the air. He seems to be exploited on double moves and gets caught guessing at times, and he might be more of a safety prospect. I see a first round caliber player here.
