They haven't given Miller those responsibilities yet b/c they don't want to give him too much too soon, he's too raw. But really, none of those offenses prepare you for the pro system any more or less than the one Ohio State runs. Besides all that, more and more teams (including the Redskins, 49ers, and Panthers) are using that zone read stuff in their system. NFL teams have actually taken several plays from Urban Meyer's offense and incorporated them into their system, the Patriots notably being the first to do this as Belichick is buds with him, and they ran a sort of pro style spread. Meyer's offense is one of the most copied spreads in college ball.
