All the recruiting sites only had a bias against Rutgers because they didn't come from a real conference according to them. That being said, unless they make noise in the Big Ten, they'll probably get as much national attention in the recruiting scene as Iowa and Minnesota.

They all suck but there are certain individuals at each site that are knowledgeable.

Not really. We already recruit better than all but 4 or 5 B10 teams.

I've noticed something:
According to Rivals, Tennessee has the to date #1 recruiting class, not too much news on that. (Kentucky is 3rd, but Calipari steals that spotlight perpetually)

It seems that unless you get a top 50-100 recruit, or have won or are in position to win a conference title or better, good luck getting any media attention.

So...recruiting media is no different than any other sports media, except the top 50 recruits and the schools they commit to get some mention too.

The NFL Draft bears out that the top players in the Country tend to come from the Southeast. ESPN is perceived to have a bias towards the Southeast but at the end of the day the NFL Draft supports the idea.

In 2013, 37% of the drafted players came from the SEC and ACC, most of whom were originally from the Southeast. This doesn't count players drafted from other conferences from the Southeast. I know Midwest and West Coast fans think ESPN is biased but the numbers show they are actually just right.

Royce Freeman to Oregon. Nice Pickup for them, could be next in the Oregon RB line.

And K Cameron Gamble to LSU. Can't seem to find any other school that offered. Or was even listed, strange.

You continue to look at only 2013 because it supports your obviously incredible bias.

High 4* safety from Georgia, Cortez McDowell commits to UT!

He and TK Jr. are going to be a nasty duo at safety.

2010 NFL Draft
SEC 49 picks
B1G 34 picks
ACC 31 picks
B12 30 picks
P12 29 picks

2011 NFL Draft
SEC 38 picks
ACC 35 picks
P12 31 picks
B12 30 picks
B1G 29 picks

2012 NFL Draft
SEC 42 picks
B1G 41 picks
ACC 31 picks
P12 28 picks
B12 26 picks

2013 NFL Draft
SEC 63 picks
ACC 31 picks
P12 28 picks
B12 22 picks
B1G 20 picks

4 year total:
SEC 192 picks
ACC 128 picks
B1G 124 picks
P12 116 picks
B12 108 picks

Or because the FACTS prove over the past 4 years, the period in which the most recent seniors played, that the SEC by far leads the way with the ACC in second place, more or less proving the top talent in the country has been consistently coming from the Southeast.

Auburn got a commitment from Elite 11 MVP Sean White. Looking at his offer list I have no idea why he'd choose Auburn over West Virginia.

(High school is a better idea of where the talent came from. Did the talent really come from the south east if the guy came to college out of Texas? This I feel is a better representation of where talent originates, and for that answer...the south as a whole, from Florida to Texas seems to have the best collection of talent)

Texas, Florida, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Georgia are where most NFL players come from. High school and college football is a bigger deal in the southeast, texas, and ohio than it is in most other states.

Take where I live for example, South Carolina. No pro sports teams here. Everyone only cares about college football and baseball and high school football. bunch of dumb rednecks who love bud light and the gamecocks, haha.

If you distribute those teams by league (counting split states equally) you get the following:

SEC: 465 (average 33.2)

Pac-12: 365 (average 30.4)

ACC: 441 (average 29.4) (this is a overly-generous because GT and Pitt are clearly second banana in their states, and Syracuse hardly dominates New York recruiting)

Big Ten: 411 (average 29.4) (adding Jersey and Maryland doesn't look so bad right now)

Big 12: 242 (average 24.2)

Or because the FACTS prove over the past 4 years, the period in which the most recent seniors played, that the SEC by far leads the way with the ACC in second place, more or less proving the top talent in the country has been consistently coming from the Southeast.
Um, there are 4 more picks between the ACC and the B1G, so......yeah.

If anything this proves what everyone already knows: it's the SEC and then everyone else. Stop trying to even remotely put the ACC in that category because it's ridiculous.
