FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports Bills CB Stephon Gilmore (wrist/hand) will miss "about eight weeks" after going down in Saturday's preseason game.
Buffalo also fear Kevin Kolb's concussion may end his NFL career. According to the Buffalo News' Tim Graham, Kolb struggled to answer questions like "where are you" and "what's your name" following his concussion in the third preseason game. Graham told Sirius XM Radio's Ross Tucker that Kolb is "almost certainly done for the year," in addition to fears about Kolb's long-term health. The Bills will move forward with Jeff Tuel, Matt Leinart, and Thad Lewis competing for No. 2 duties behind E.J. Manuel.
Anyone heard anything about Travis Beckum lately? I just remember him being a pretty highly-thought-of tight end when he was coming out, one of the better tight ends in a Wisconsin program that's seen several guys succeed in the NFL lately, but he never made a big impact in New York and then he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl and hasn't played since that I know of. Is he done? Any Giants or Badgers fans in the know?
