Tre Madden rSO RB USC. Looking like he could be a 3-down RB at the next level. Great size, can pass protect, quick feet, solid burst, can do things after the catch.

Mike Davis was mentioned in the very first post, but he's caught my eye lately, too. I actually really liked his brother James Davis, who people probably remember from Clemson, but who tore his labrum as a rookie and bounced around a couple teams and seemed to have some personal issues that may have kept him from succeeding. Mike looks like he's quicker and more explosive, and frankly he looks like a prototypical starting running back to me. I daresay I might like him more than I liked Trent Richardson a couple years ago. He gets north and south quickly and has excellent power as well as speed.

And: The "2016" draft class is ridiculous at running back. There are at least 5 sophomore that all look like plug-and-play NFL starters to me in Todd Gurley, TJ Yeldon, Melvin Gordon, Duke Johnson and Mike Davis.

Another solid week for Jones. People are watching Fales closely and it's just a mateer of time before Jones starts getting recognition.

I like what little I have seen of him too, looks good considering he is only a year out from an ACL injury and transitioned to RB after being recruited as a LB.

He looked really good. I also like Leonard Williams and Morgan Breslin on the other side of the ball. Two guys who will be in the NFL in the next two upcoming years.

Paul Perkins rFR RB UCLA: Emerging as the best RB on the roster. Much more naturally talented than Johnathan Franklin. Can run between the tackles and cut on a dime. Also a great receiver and explosive after the catch.

Will Sutton started to look like he did last season. Still not quite there though.

Michael Campanaro with 44 catches and it's still the first week of October and it's Wake Forest. As close to Wes Welker as you can get only he has more top end speed.

Josh Shirley, UW,LB really played well against Stanford needs a little bulk but has really good speed to play on olb in a 4-3.

Ed Reynolds, s, stan. probably my choice as the best safety in the country along with a couple of guys for Alabama. Really did a nice job of neutralizing Austin Sefarian Jenkins in the middle of the field.

Shane Skov, lb, stan. looks like he's back to pre injury levels. Was all over the field and his abscence in that defense was pretty significant any time he went to the sideline.

Skov looks so much better now. I freaked when he got hurt for a second but he came back. He is back to being dynamic at times.

Josh Ferguson rSO RB Illinois: One of the better dual-threat RBs no one is talking about. Only listed at 5'10" 185, but runs with good strength for his size even between the tackles. Emerging as Illinois' best option.

I thought UCLA OL Xavier Sua'filo was a monster this week. Complete offensive lineman. Great punch, quick feet and nasty drive and demeanor.

Week: 5
*Blake Bortles JR QB UCF: Really nice looking quarterback, plays under control, has good size, nice athlete, can take a hit and is an ever improving passer who throws well on the move.

*Chris Borland SR LB Wisconsin: Everyone knows about him before the season starts, but the kid is playing out of his mind. Getting pressure on the quarterback, playing such aggressive football, he is playing up to the level of a 1st round pick. Not sure that will happen but he is playing like on the field so far.

*Andre Williams SR RB Boston College: Having a great season, really playing well. I liked him as a younger prospect on BC, then kind of disappeared but now he is back and in a big way, thick physical runner with decent speed.

*PJ Williams SOPH CB Florida State: Came out of no where, starter at corner and playing outstanding football, really smooth in coverage and has good ball skills.

*Josh Stewart JR WR Oklahoma State: Nice return potential and good running after the catch. A little small but that is not a huge issue, he has big time playmaking potential and if he comes back for his senior season he could be very good.

*Jimmy Legree SR CB South Carolina: Having a fine year, long armed corner, active in pass coverage, knows how to play and is getting better and better as the season goes on. Is looking to be a very solid second tear corner prospect in the draft.

*Storm Johnson JR RB UCF: Big physical runner, impressive this season with his toughness and he might get a look as a short yardage back in the NFL. Nice looking athlete overall with fine strength.

*Terrance Plummer JR LB UCF: Was all over the field against South Carolina, very sound athlete as well, consistently made plays on the field and he has good size for a linebacker. Could develop into a very good prospect.

*Kenneth Acker SR CB SMU: Not a star player but one to watch, made some good plays on the ball in pass coverage, has smooth coverage skills and event returns punts at times, decent looking corner need to watch more of.

*Will Clarke SR DE West Virginia: Playing well, noticed him last year, absolutely huge kid, perfect in a 3/4 potentially, has good quickness off the edge and can get consistent penetration.

*Ronald Patrick SR OG South Carolina: Very thick tough guard, nice athlete and gets good push on running plays, if he improves his pass protection and overall athletic ability he could be a great mid to late round pick at guard.

*Noah Spence SOPH DE Ohio State: Playing well for Ohio State, rounding out, gives good consistent pressure on the edge at defensive end. Kind of a tweener but he he shows some more athletic ability in coverage he could be a fine 3/4 OLB potentially.

*Brandon Allen SOPH QB Arkansas: Not a super star player but has years to improve and shows a pretty sound throwing arm. Gets good speed on his passes and is a nice athlete. Will be interesting to see how he develops in that system.

*Jonathan Williams SOPH RB Arkansas: Nice looking runner, has good speed and size, quick feet and should do great things in the future in that new Arkansas run based offense.

*E.J. Dunston SR DT UCF: Nice thick tackle, gets good push on the line, can hold his own and does not get pushed around. Big thick athlete that could be a good late round or undrafted free agent prospect.

Week: 7
*Danielle Hunter SOPH DE LSU: Played really great football, was all over the place, getting in the face of the QB with those long arms. If he gains some strength and weight he could be a really high pick with one more season under his belt. Nice to see some of those LSU DE's rounding into shape more as the season goes on.

*Devin Funchess SOPH TE Michigan: Not many tight ends playing better than him, just streaking down the field and making huge plays in the pass game. No one seems to be able to cover him and he is showing great speed. Really playing well for an offense without many weapons catching the ball. If he puts on just a few more pounds watch out, especially in the tight end happy NFL where pass catching TE ends are always needed and wanted.

*L'Damian Washington SR WR Missouri: Impressive looking senior WR, playing great football, is active, shows decent speed and already has great size for the position. Can go up and get the ball, competes for it, and if he continues his fine play this year he could be a mid round draft pick potentially.

*Jared Abbrederis SR WR Wisconsin: Playing like an absolute star, hard to fine one who runs better routes than he does. Has really solid hands, is a better athlete than most give him credit for, I could not be shocked to see him picked possibly even in the 2nd with his fine route running skills and hands.

*Markus Golden JR DE Missouri: Big thick kid, gets good rush off the edge, has nice physical strength combined with good speed and quickness. If he continues his play like this I would not be surprised to see him leave early.

*Connor Shaw SR QB South Carolina: Never really considered him an NFL quarterback. But hard to argue with his leadership, toughness and competitiveness. And he does not throw an awful ball either, and he is a fine athlete. He might get a show I feel at being a backup in the NFL, if he finishes off his senior year well, do not be surprised if he gets a chance.

*Randy Gregory JR DE Nebraska: Promising looking pass rusher for a team that really needs it. Got some consistent pressure against Purdue, nice looking athlete and will be interesting to watch him throughout the year.

*Bralon Addison SOPH WR Oregon: Nice base on him, quick player, moves well in the open field, tough and has good hands. Really sound receiver with big play potential all over him.

*Trey Williams SOPH RB Texas A&M: Really wish he got the ball more. If he was on a team where he was the man and got the ball he would have a ton of yards. Big time athlete, great speed just hope to see more of him in the future.

*Germain Ifedi FR OL Texas A&M: Montain of a lineman, has youth and size. Should be a great player for him and is part of a very solid A&M offensive line once again.

*Quincy Enunwa SR WR Nebraska: Having a very good year, love his physical size and strength for a receiver, gives outstanding effort on the field. Has decent speed and will be one to watch come workout time for the receivers.

*D.T. Shackelford SR OLB Ole Miss: Watched him on a few plays and he gave really good effort rushing the passer. Not having a great season, and he had so much promise as a young prospect, will see how the rest of the season turns out but at least it is good to see him giving great effort at times.

*Vincent Valentine FR DT Nebraska: Has not done a ton, but shows some promise and potential as a tackle. Good athlete, has decent quickness and great size, been a little while since Nebraska had a young defensive tackle to get excited about.

Oregon vs Washington:

Ifo Ekpre Olomu, cb Oregon. Looks to me like the best cover guy out there. Unlike Roby at OSU his production matches his reputation.

Marcus Mariota, qb Oregon. I think if you need that signature game to put your name at the top of draft lists this game was it. He was brilliant on saturday and may have moved himself to the top of the draft.

Tyler Johnstone, soph, ot Oregon. Looks like that big LT like those guys from A & M who are at the top of tackle lists. Looks like the #1 tackle for the 2015 draft.

Bishop Sankey, rb Washington. Just a great all around back for this level who should find himself some serious interest in the second round of next may's draft.

Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, te Washington. His production is down, which is more of a fault of the QB not getting that deep in his progressions but ASJ is a huge target with a large area to throw too. Throw him the damn ball.

Randy Gregory is a name to watch. Listed as a Sophomore is our best Defensive lineman and he's only been here since fall camp, he could become a big time prospect once he figures out the little things and not just using size/strength.

I agree, he stood out this weekend and like I said it has been awhile since one could get a little excited about a Nebraska defensive lineman, last year they were an awful group but with Gregory and the young Valentine their is some up side and talent there. Gregory does not look like he is 6-6 which he is listed as, on the field at least he doesn't, active player but does not appear to be that large I thought.

Sams showed great promise from the first two games of the season I thought. Did not have the stats but one could see his athletic talent, could be a fine running back or receiver potentially and should be damn fun to watch develop at Kansas State over the next few seasons. If he develops as a passer who knows how good he could be.

YAYareaRB I thought UCLA OL Xavier Sua'filo was a monster this week. Complete offensive lineman. Great punch, quick feet and nasty drive and demeanor.
That is good to hear, I love love loved him as a freshman on UCLA then he was gone on the mission for so long. Was ok last year but was a little disappointed he was moved to guard. Glad to see he is playing his way back into shape.

No Ozzy, you have to watch his film against Baylor. I haven't seen a more explosive runner all year, regardless of position.

Just put this one here right now.

Eric Ebron.

Quote:
UNC junior TE Eric Ebron shredded Miami's secondary for eight catches, 199 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 27-23 setback.

Ebron's huge night started with a 71-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter that gave the Tar Heels a 7-3 lead. UNC's stud tight end set his new single-game career-best receiving yard mark with an acrobatic 23-yard reception in the third quarter. Ebron is putting up huge receiving numbers and he's also a lauded blocker. He struggled with consistency in 2012, dropping passes in contested situations, but Ebron has made numerous circus catches this year and appears to have cured himself of butterfingers. Thirty-two NFL scouts and five general managers attended Thursday's game; all are likely on the phone this very minute with their bosses singing Ebron's praises.

this guy has to be discussed, and is becoming one of my favorite prospects. Rashad Greene, WR FSU. he is having a monster game vs Clemson, has the deep speed and quickness to seperate. does not slow down in breaks, and breaks off big plays after the catch all the time.
