Any doubt regarding Russ shouldve been removed when he was playing with no offensive earlier this season. Like, literally, he had no line. He was scrambling for his life the second he snapped the ball. He was what the Jake Locker fans thought Jake Locker at Washington was. And he still found ways to produce and get his teams wins in spite of that.
But the narrative has already been written. Russell is good because of Lynch, because of the defense, etc. Nevermind that the RB/defense combo hasn't worked in the NFL for a decade. It's never consistent, you'll get a team who has one good year doing that and then they fall back to reality the next year.
