Who said I wanted Clowney? My top 3 player for the Rams are Matthews, Robinson and Watkins.

Mack has pass rushing and blitzing skill so Williams will sit down SS instead.

Fisher has no history of taking OL in the first round so I stand by that. Watkins could make sense, though.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

If the SS sits, it will be because the team plays a 3rd CB. You would not have only 3 DBs in on passing downs. That would be insane.

Also, why would the Rams want to commit an OLB to blitzing? They have more sacks, and more sacks from their front 4 than ANY team in the NFL over the past two years.

Rather have Cyrus and Tuitt in the first two rounds, but the 3rd and 4th for Miami are solid.

If we had this draft, in all honestly give it a D+ at best. You are missing the main thing we need, which is DB's. We have one above average CB, one coming off a bad injury (Greer), one who has proven to be just a nickel CB (White), and Robinson a pretty much bust. At safety we have Vaccarro and Bush, who is a RFA, and to be honest it could be upgraded, even though Jenkins is there too we run a lot of 3 Safety sets. And if we don't nab a #1 WR, we don't need one early in the draft. The third round pick is solid, and the 4th is alright as well. But 4 rounds without DB's is just bad for us.

I was aware of that... I could have Saints taken CB instead of Landry, though.

Based on your projections, I would love Deone Bucannon (I really think he makes the leap during the combine), then Austin Sefari-Jenkins (we run a lot of two TE sets), McGill, then Britt. I would really like that. Bucannon and Vacarro in the backfield would be sexy, not many people can stop Graham and ASF, Britt feels a need, as does Britt.

San Fran has KC's second round Pick. I like the Lee pick, He's an ideal "Andy Reid" Wideout and could be a true number one...and with Bowe being a very competent #2. KC's offense would look amazing. What do you think about drafting a high free safety? The melt down in the wildcard still has me reeling(actually lost a bet where I have to grow a beard until KC wins a playoff game..) just some thoughts big guy.

5. Oakland - QB Derek Carr, Fresno State.
---- Carr edges over Manziel due to work ethic and maturity. The quarterback circus has been unstoppable so those key attributes should help Raiders move on. Carr offers quick release for short pass offense and a cannon for an arm to spread out deeply.
This is equal parts awful and possible, making it even more awful.

Quote:
4. Oakland - LB Ryan Shazier, Ohio State.
I like the player, just not for Oakland. The only LBs the Raiders should be eyeballing this high are the ones that are really just undersized DEs. Way too much value on the board to draft someone who actually doesn't play a position of great need...which is saying a lot because Oakland has great needs at nearly every position.

Quote:
3. Oakland - DE Chris Smith, Arkansas.
Meh.

Quote:
7. Oakland - C Bryan Stork, Florida State.
I don't think backup center is a high enough priority to burn a 4th round pick on.

This is a "I give up on this season before it starts" draft. Would be very disappointing.

How are you not getting this?

On passing downs, the Rams sub out an OLB (Dunbar, last year), and bring in an extra CB. The other two LBs (Laurinaitis, Ogletree) typically stay on the field.

So...

THEY DON'T NEED TO DRAFT ANOTHER LB IN THE FIRST ROUND!

Clear now?

Reilly and SJB would be solid Colts picks. I expect Indy to be very active in FA this year again so it is hard to predict what will happen in the draft.

I'm not a fan of the Jets draft beyond the Ward pick, but I think those are all good positions to address.

I'd rather get shot in the head with a large-caliber bullet than to have a Jags draft like this.
