Position wise, I'm down with it. I prever Mike Evans as our first round WR!

Jones is an interesting guy, another FSU athlete LB, like Timmons.

Lee fits our O to a T. Plus, don't forget he was once considered a top 5 pick till his legs went bad and his QBs sucked.

Didn't know that. But I don't want all our WR to be 6'. Its would be nice to see some jump ball, and redzone target, a bigger target.

Lee has a real chance to be special, even if hes 6-0, that doesnt mean he cant out jump a 5-11 corner lol

He is a julio jones type athlete, just not a giant

I wouldn't mind this, but Ben needs a number 1 guy. I will be ok with Ebron though and then go WR later.

I just saw a mock draft (mynfl.com) that has us taking WR Odell Beckham in the 2nd round with Allen Robinson still on the board, going to BAltimore 2 picks later after they get Ebron in the 1st!
THAT WOULD BE MY NIGHTMARE DRAFT!

A lot of media outlets reporting we'll target a tall receiver early in the draft. Who do you guys like from the tall receivers?

Obviously Watkins, but what do you guys think about Mike Evans, Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews, Donte Moncrieff, Allen Robinson, heck even Brandon Coleman?

I don't want Coleman. I think he sucks. Evans or KB and call it a day. Moncrief wouldn't be bad though.

Pre Combine

1st - Louis Nix III , NT
- I'm not a fan of wasting another pick on the big uglys , but Nix is more than a 2 down player , slide McClendon over to DE

2nd - Kyle Fuller / Stanley Jean-Baptise , CB
- CB needs to be 1st or 2nd round - Fuller is excellent and fits this team well , and well SJB has loads of potential

3rd comp - Demarcus Lawrence , OLB
- Well Chris Carter showed nothing, Worilds might not be back , OLB should be a big priority

4th - Robert Herron - WR
- Maybe AB 2.0 - Colbert seems to like him , they like smaller guys

5th - Marqueston Huff - FS
- Back to back Wyoming players - I think Huff will be a steal in this draft , but that's just me

5th comp - DeAnthony Thomas - RB/WR/Return
- Will he last this long , who knows , but he's a weapon ...

6th - Andre Hall - CB
-Need at least 2 of these , as Curtis Brown showed absolutely nothing

7th - Kapri Bibbs - RB
I like this guy , and we need another RB behing Bell , from Colorado State , Joey Porter could bring this guy with him , and he's young only a red shirt soph

I just don't like KB, he doesn't go up for the ball, lets it come to him. Just watch his game tapes. Most of his routes are quick slants, and the deep fade throws are when the CB takes a false step. Its not KB ability to fake them or the stop and go. He doesn't have the long instant speed, its more of a build up. There were a few more things I didn't like.

He knows how to use his big body on those quick slants, and he has big hands. But he doesn't run many routes.

I'd be good with Evans and Moncrief.

I love everything about Moncrief's game. Only thing I didn't see from Moncrief his is use of his height. Not to many jump balls, but thats not his game. Most of the time its throw it and he'll find a way to get under it, even if under thrown, and get his hands on the ball.

Moncrief has to be a sneaky round 1 WR or high 2nd round after the combine.

Read SD might not resign Danario Alexander. I'd give him a look, would be cheap and is probably a knee injury waiting to happen, but he'd be solid depth.

Only concern with Delmas is his degenerative knee condition that limited him to practicing only once a week

Even though he did manage to play in all 16 games last year & I do think he's a solid S, I still don't think he'd be anything more than a stop - gap

There goes Goose's suggestion of Alexander as he needs more work done on his knee.

Not saying Delmas will be Ryan Clark but a 2 year, 3 million dollar contract is fair value IMO. I also like Kendrick Lewis.

No way the Steelers can afford Ward or Byrd.

David Todd tweeted that Colbert said the Steelers will be more active in free agency than years past. I'll believe it when I see it, though.

Saw that, go figure.

With the new announcement about a 5% increase in salary cap to $130 million, I think we might do a little more in free agency, but still nothing to make headlines. Or it might allow us to keep Woodley. Who knows.

I heard someone say they were thinking a Hartings and Keyaryn Fox type signings this year. I'd welcome that. I'm just still not caught up on the available free agents to make a guess. I'd love Ward but that's a stretch.

With Mike Evans running a 4.5, I am leaning towards him. His 10 yard was beautiful as well. I'll have to watch the rest of his workout, but the 40 was nice

Kelvin Benjamin ran a solid time, but I think he could go in the second round. From what I gathered, his first two years are a mess and drops a lot of catchable balls. Needs lots of work.

Martavis Bryant is a guy I'd target in the third round if we trade down or in the second. That big and that fast? Ridiculous.
