No way CHI/NYJ is going to be more anticipated then NYJ/NE. Maybe more competitive but the latter is much more of a big deal to the Jets. Same with MIA/NYJ.

Point is, you can't really judge the schedule now. Last year the Jets were thought to be a joke, the Falcons and Texans looked like tough games, and the Cardinals and Chargers were not judged as difficult games when reading the sked in April.

And that's besides injuries. A few teams that read GB on the sked last April got Matt Flynn instead of Aaron Rodgers.

And it's before the draft.

It's tough to imagine teams like NE, SEA, SF, DEN not being hard games, but you never know. And beyond that, we really don't know who's going to be good or bad.
I'll ask again in August.

I just don't understand how Sf schedule is the 4th toughest, I mean really? DO they expect at least half if not 90% of the teams we play to win 9 games or more ?

Like having your Pro Bowl left tackle perpetually injured? Or the starting guard you spent a first round pick on, but who can't stay on the field for his life? Or your star wide receiver, who you gave up a bunch of draft picks (i.e., gave up Cordarrelle Patterson, which I will always remember) out for the season? Or your other starting wide receiver out for the year? Or your starting outside linebacker? Or both of the defensive tackles you drafted to help your line?

Or maybe the Packers just aren't as good as you want them to be once a couple of star players get injured and you find that it's easy to look to the injury report for your weekly excuses? The Seahawks had depth, dude, not a uniquely healthy roster.

Only one December home game will hopefully help attendance. Broncos, Packers, and Patriots all in that final month. Smeh.

I'm ranking them in terms of overall anticipation. Chicago-New York will be more competitive most likely and this more compelling to the average fan.

Anybody notice that all the CBS national games (including Thanksgiving) are divisional games? I know divisional games are important, but how about some variety?

I absolutely hate divisional games being played on Thanksgiving.

San Diego's last five games on the schedule:

at Baltimore
vs New England
vs Denver
at San Francisco
at Kansas City

Good luck Bolts.

That and beating great teams but losing to terrible ones.

Last year SD beat 5 playoff teams (Denver, KC X2, Philly, Indy, Cincy) and lost to 3 of the 5 worst teams in the league (Houston, Washington, Oakland). So while the team should have 8 or 9 wins going into that rough stretch more likely they'll be barely in the playoff hunt and pull a few upsets in December.

The cowboys schedule not only gives you the redskins as division winners if you like trends, the team we have played in week 2 has gone on to be a turnaround team.

Tennessee Titans comeback team of the year?

•In 2010, the Cowboys faced the Bears with a 0-1 record after losing to the Redskins on Sunday Night Football. Chicago was coming off a 7-9 record the year before, but beat the Cowboys that day, 27-20. The Bears finished that year 11-5, for a four-game improvement.

•The next season, the Cowboys avoided a 0-2 start with a dramatic comeback win over the 49ers out in San Francisco. The Niners were 6-10 the previous year, but went on to finish 13-3 and make the NFC Championship Game. How about an improvement of seven wins from the previous year.
•In 2012, Seattle went from 7-9 to 11-5 in one season. The Seahawks beat the Cowboys emphatically in Week 2, spoiling what appeared to be a signature win over the defending-champion Giants in the first game. Like the Bears in 2010, Seattle had a four-game improvement.
•And last year, the biggest turnaround of them all was Kansas City’s jump from 2-14 to 11-5. The Chiefs edged the Cowboys in Week 2, once again spoiling Dallas’ season-opening victory over the Giants.

In the last four years, the Cowboys’ Week 2 opponent is averaging a six-game turnaround from the previous season.

Watch out for those Titans. Not just in Week 2, but for the entire season. :)
