Everybody likes Brandin Cooks as DeSean Jackson's replacement, but holy cow, why is Marquise Lee still on the board? Somebody's going to be real happy soon.

So you say after your single vote goes to Cooks.

I mean, Cooks does make sense for them, but it just seems a little surreal that Lee keeps sliding down. I thought he should've gone to New York. Philly's already got some bigger wideouts so it makes sense for them to prefer a fast, elusive guy like Cooks. So I think it makes sense, I'm just saying that some receiver-needy team is going to get a great value on Lee.

Although Cooks falls into that electric category, as an Eagle fan I'm here to say I prefer Lee.

I totally understand that, too. It seems like they intend to keep Jeremy Maclin around for at least this coming season, right? Maclin and Lee are fairly similar, and Riley Cooper is another bigger, more "possession"-type receiver so the jitterbug who can outrun and get behind a secondary seems like a better "need" fit. But I'm sure Foles would love having Lee, and Lee would become their number one option sooner rather than later. Not sure if I ever see Cooks becoming a number one, but he'd fill a more clearly-defined niche in that offense. So it's like - does Chip Kelly want a swiss army knife kind of offense where he's got this wide variety of players, or would he look at Lee and Cooks and simply see Lee as a superior player? I see Lee as a superior player myself, but it's also really common for teams to pick players who think will add a "wrinkle" or "explosiveness" to their offense over another player who goes on to be a less-flashy but highly productive player elsewhere.

I don't think you can go wrong between either if you're Philly, but something tells me Chip would love Cooks.

and that's why i voted Cooks. Chip Kelly always seems to have a use for a guy like that.

I see what you are saying but if you look at our WR unit D-Jack was the only homerun hitter we had. Kelly did not even bring another on board last season. Maclin only has a 1-yr deal which is where I say take Lee the substance guy. These all-purpose electric guys that have true value can always be grabbed anywhere from Rounds 2-4. I want the sure thing right now.

He's really good at playing the position, but he drops way too many catchable balls.

I'm going Allen Robinson here. High-jumper, makes his cuts nice and sharp, physical as hell, one of the best YAC receivers despite being bigger/less shifty, and dominant at the ages of 19 and 20. Only gonna get better.

Made Roby look like a UDFA, too.

Allen Robinson's a weird one for me. I feel like I should see it, but I don't.
