Sad Sad Day
Early this morning, May 18th 2007, Mike V died. Mike V was the mascot for Louisiana State University. A strong but calm Bengal Tiger that struck fear in every opponent that walked into "Death Valley". Today will be a sad day for all LSU fans but soon a new cub will be introduced as Mike VI and a new era in LSU football will begin. Fear Mike VI college football world, the successor will be young and ready to ROAR!

If my earlier comment was to harsh may I add its sad he died though, I like tigers; but, it doesn't really change too much.
In perspective UT's mascot is on Bevo VIV. |

You can say our state was tied to Mike. We just built him a 1+ million dollar home.
