WR Roy Williams Elite top 10???
Is Roy Williams a Top 10 WR in the League?
I have my own opinions on this but I wanted to see what others thought.

I don't see how he's not. Still needs to shut his mouth though.

If not now, soon. At least 1 WR turned out for the Lions.
On a side note, whenever I see names like detknowitall and detroitsports, I always think it's Scubba.

We'll look into that.
And no, he is not a Top 10 WR in the NFL. There are so many good ones.

I think he is, he has great talent, but I think top 5 would be a stretch. Maybe 7-10 would be best

I would say that he is, he is making those easy catches this year that he hadn't been in his first two years plus he is still making those outstanding acrobatic one handed receptions.

I don't think they're scubba, just always when I see the thread starter name. They're way too low key for Scubba. And I voted yes, but now I think I'd change it to no after thinking about it, as you said there are just SO MANY great WRs in this league.

I'm just going to list names. In no way am I saying that these guys are all better than him:
Marvin Harrison
Reggie Wayne
Torry Holt
Chad Johnson
Hines Ward
Steve Smith
Terrell Owens
Larry Fitzgerald
Anquan Boldin
Randy Moss
Santana Moss
Javon Walker
Andre Johnson
Joe Horn
Plaxico Burress
Darrell Jackson
Donald Driver
Chris Chambers
Lav. Coles
Out of these guys, I think you can find AT LEAST 10 who you think is better than Roy. Even if they are on bad teams, with bad QBs, O-lines, whatever. Some are better WRs.

I think he is. I think you could argue he is in the 7-10 range like bearsfan said.

At this point in all of their careers, I believe Roy Williams is better than Joe Horn and Randy Moss.

Well, that would be my top 10, so I guess you can change my Yes to a No. By the way, I do notice that Chad Johnson is not on my list.

Even with off years, to put him above Chad Johnson or TO is ridic. Likewise, Fitzgerald and Boldin both have had more production than him. I love Roy Williams, any of my friends will tell you that. But Top 10 is stretching it.

Even with those, there's Holt, Harrison, maybe Walker, Smith and maybe Wayne.
After that it's really all toss ups. Randy Moss is clearly past his prime, Santana Moss hasn't been very consistent this year or throughout his career really.
Roy Williams has been a damn good receiver this year.

I mean, we're talking total package. You'd put Fitzgerald behind him? TO? Anquan Boldin? that seems so hard to do. Plus you have guys like Andre Johnson who have the skill set but not the team, Ward who is consistant, etc.

IMO, Terrell Owens has done absolutely nothing this year to make me consider him an elite reciever. Like when he dropped that 4th down pass a couple of weeks ago, or when he missed that definite touchdown this week that probably would've won them the game.

But you speak like this year is all that matters. I'm not saying their careers, but years vary. As a whole in terms of talent, TO is more talented than Roy. Roy drops passes too.
