Here's the trailer for 21. It's about the MIT team that took down Vegas in Blackjack. I heard that when they were shooting this movie they had one of the original members of the team on set and he and Kevin Spacey went a casino and the guy helped Spacey win about $40,000 in 5 minutes.

The guy that said that mentioned that. But because he was with Kevin Spacey the guy went anyway. The casino wasn't going to throw out Kevin Spacey.
EDIT: By the way, I was looking it up and the guy I heard this on the radio from was Ben Mezrich, the author of Bringing Down The House, which the movie is based on.

Like I said, this theater is strict. There's no sneaking into a movie. They won't let me buy another person a ticket unless she's there with id.

Raimi just said that a SM4 is in the talking stages, they need a writer and they need to talk to the stars. But Raimi won't do it if Toby and Kirsten aren't back which I think is good. Maybe another director would be good, get a different spin on things, but I just can't see this movie without Toby as Spidey.
I personally thought the 3rd installment was good. Too many subplots but I thought the action was great, I thought Toby, Franco, and Grace were great and it was awesome to see Venom in action. It was the worst of the 3 though, I'd rank em' 2, 1, and 3.

Read up on it. Got all great reviews and seems like something she would like. I'd probably rather see Beowulf, but I care more about what she wants.

andy bloch was a member of the MIT team and he's an established poker player so he's not banned from every casino. I'd believe they wouldnt let him play some games (blackjack especially, other games where you can card-count) but they can still get into casinos.

Was watching AMC tonight. Sort of a vietnam mini marathon as they had Casualties of War followed by Platoon.
I must say Casualties of War was a great film. Great acting by Michael J. Fox who completely upstaged everyone as well as Sean Penn and the actress who played the Thai girl (forgot her name). Really haunting movie and you really feel for Fox's character. I could feel his anger and helplessness in the impossible situation he was put in.
Platoon was also a great movie. Tom Berenger was great. Loved the battle scenes (especially the end one) and the interaction with charlie sheen/willem dafoe and tom berenger.
After watching these 2 movies im kind of in the mood for another vietnam war movie. I need to watch Acopalypse Now..

I have mixed emotions about all of Adam Sandler's serious movies...
some of them are good
Spainglish
some are in the middle
Reign over me
and some weren't good at all
Punch Drunk Love...
