Default Holmgren's Returning For 08
I heard John Clayton telling 950 KJR that Mike Holmgren is coming back for the 2008 season. There is supposed to be a news conference scheduled at 2 down at Kirkland, where I suppose there is going to be an announcement.

*Unconfirmed: ESPN.com is also reporting he is coming back

Anyways, any thoughts on his return?

I for one am very, very happy and now we can start focusing on more important things, like how to land Johnathan Stewart.

Just saw on NFL Network a little blip that Mike Holmgren is planning on retiring after the 2008 season.

Bittersweet day to be a Hawk fan. We get one more year under Mike, then it's back to the drawing board with Mora or whoever they choose to be his eventual replacement.

holmgren is retiring after this next year, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope on him going back to SF.
