The Simpsons Tribute Thread
Probably the 2nd best show of all time, only to Seinfeld imo...although this is more special to me because i didn't get into seinfeld until it's reruns, and i grew up watching The Simpsons. Right now im actually watching the beerbaron episode, so hilarious!

 I absolutley love this episode. There is a giant car pile up and Homer is saving everyone and while he is carrying Nelson...Lenny says something along the lines..."Three cheers for the Safety Salamander!"...Homer responds, "Only Three!?!?!?!?!" and starts to put Nelson back into the flaming car he pulled him out of. Hilarious. One of my favorite episodes ever.

old simpsons were the best. The new ones since 2005 have sucked ass though. The first season was pretty bad as well.
However, from years 91 or 92 through 97 or 98, there was no show better. Then after those golden years it had a bad year or two, and then started making some pretty decent/good episodes. Favorite Character... Classic Homer Simpson.

Grew up on the damn show.. watched it all the freakin' time.. but since 2002 or so, I haven't bothered to watch the first runs. It just got old.. Too many dumb storylines and celebrity appearances. The jokes have been severely dumbed down. They've really over-exposed the minor characters.
My favorite character was Homer, and minor character was Fat Tony or Moe.

My favorite Simpson is Homer and my favorite non-Simpson is probably Sideshow Bob. I think the show has definitely gone on for too long at this point, although I did enjoy the movie. My favorite episode is either Cape Feare or Homer vs. the 18th Amendment.

I think my favorite lines were from the Beer Baron Episode.
Detective: We're going to find you beer baron... wherever you are. Homer [in the farrrrrrrr distance]: .......no you won't Detective: Yes... we will. Homer: No you won't... Just because it caught me off guard since he was talking to the skyline, haha.

god I love the Simpsons, unfortunately they have decreased in quality but the old ones are still classics to watch, idk if I could name a favorite character because they are all so good.
