don't you think it's a bit soon to add Peterson to 'best ever' lists? He's finished ONE season.

Or Jaws. Both him and Randall should be there over Donovon. And Brocklin was only an Eagle for two or three seasons. Sure he brought your historically losing franchise a championship, but I would still put Jaws or Randall ahead of them both.

Having 1 or 2 down seasons doesn't take away the fact that McNabb was a top 3-5 QB the previous 6. 2 years ago people were talking about if McNabb could be a future HOFer, and now it doesn't look that way but who know what he can still do in his career. He led us to 4 NFC Championship games and 1 SB and Cunningham and Jaws didn't have that much success. And you can't use the Donovan never won a SB argument either because although it pains me to say it neither did Jaws or Randall.

I'm well aware neither Randall or Jaws won a Super Bowl. :) However, it is just my opinion that they were better players. Especially Cunningham. Donovan still has a chance to pass them though.

Please, please, please let this be sarcasm.
If you saw Deion in his prime, you would NEVER say he wasn't the best corner in NFL history. You know how good Champ Bailey covers? He isn't even in the same league as Deion Sanders. I don't remember who said it, but a very good receiver said Deion was the only CB he ever played against that could press without ever touching the receiver.
In most cases, the lower the stats for a corner, the better the corner was(provided, of course, they played a lot of games.) Deion didn't get the ball thrown his way for almost entire seasons. One receiver was completely taken out of the game, EVERY.SINGLE.GAME.

You give far too little credit to the Lions of the 50s. Of course, they would comprise most of the team, but still...

Your comment reflects your username. Anyone old enough to have seen Deion Sanders play in his prime would know better. As a Broncos fan, I love Champ Bailey, but he does not even come close to Deion's coverage skills.

I know Steelers have been done already, but here's another one with a few changes.
QB - Terry Bradshaw, Honourable Mention - Big Ben
RB - Franco Harris
FB - Jerome Bettis, out of position, but just trying to realistically maximize talent. If this team was actually going to play a game, I'd probably want Dan Kreider in here and have a Bus and Franco RB combo.
WR - Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Hines Ward
TE - Bennie Cunningham
C - Mike Webster
G - Alan Faneca, Demontii Dawson(capable of playing guard)
T - Larry Brown, Jon Kolb
DT - Joe Greene, Casey Hampton. HM - Ernie Stautner, Ernie Holmes.
DE - LC Greenwood, Dwight White. HM - Aaron Smith
OLB - Jack Ham, Greg Lloyd.
MLB - Jack Lambert. HM Levon Kirkland
CB - Mel Blount, Rod Woodson
S - Troy Polamalu, Donnie Shell. HM Carnell Lake. Couldn't decide who to leaven out as the starter so just left Carnell out as he hasn't won a SB.

What is up with the Detroit Lions fans in this thread. Do you know anything about the history of your club.
You have 17 Hall of famers, 13 of whom went in as Lions.
You have three of the best Defensive backs in the History of the game in Barney, Lary and Lane.
Charlie Sanders was one of the best Tight ends of his era.
And Joe Schmidt went to 10 straight Pro Bowls and was 10 time All-NFL selection at linebacker.
Your team has 4 NFL Titles.
These are your Hall of famers you should really brush up on your history, shame on you.
