I agree that both these guys had to go.
Gold was the most frustrating guy on the team last year. His speed and instincts got him to the ball carrier most of the time...where he promptly fell down and watched the guy run another ten yards. I swear he was personally responsible for at least 30 extra yards on the opponents rushing average every week.
As far a Javon, I wish he wasn't such a head case. I don't know if it was Williams' death or his ego not being able to handle Brandon Marshall's emergence or what, but if he could've just shut up and played he and Marshall and Stokely together could've put up huge numbers. Oh well, he didn't give the Broncos much choice.
