MOSS ACCUSER NEEDS MONEY
Rachelle Washington, the 35-year-old friend of Randy Moss who has filed a legal action against him, was the subject of an eviction attempt by her landlord within the past month, according to the Boston Herald.
In all, three separate landlords have tried to eject Washington over the past several years.
The Herald also reports that Moss's Florida lawyer, Richard Sharpstein, will appear at a hearing scheduled for January 28 and request a continuance until Moss can appear. Since the purpose of the hearing is to make a temporary restraining order permanent, and because Moss is willing to abide by the temporary order until the hearing can be held, a continuance shouldn't be a problem.
Looking at the thing more broadly, however, the best strategy might be to deny all allegations, but to agree to the permanent order. Given that the woman has allegedly tried to extort $500,000 from Moss, we can't imagine that he'd be inclined to hang out with her in the offseason.
Meanwhile, someone contacted us on Friday by e-mail and offered photographs of Rachelle Washington. Given her apparent financial struggles, maybe it was Washington herself.

Hey!!! Shock of the day!!
Quote:
The woman who obtained a restraining order against Randy Moss asked that the order be dissolved.
The woman had accused Moss of injuring her finger and preventing her from seeking medical attention during "consensual horseplay." Moss never faced criminal charges relating to the incident, and this development makes it unlikely that he ever will.

I feel bad for some of these guys. They are total targets. Some of them don't do the best of jobs keeping themselves out of these situations, but still. It's got to be tough... especially in situations like Kobe Bryant's...

Agreed I don't like Moss but it makes me angry when people make false accusations, especially with the timing this came up it was just a dumb little insignificant thing that probably wasn't even true, yet it was all over sportcenter just because of the Pats season.
