My strategy of no 5-12 upsets and all 7-10 upsets didn't work out too well.

20/32...:( I've got 14/16 sweet sixteen teams left, and all eight of the elite eight. I picked all the upsets on the wrong day...

I am happy with my selections of Western Kentucky and Siena witrh an overall record of 24-8 in the first round
Clemson screwed me a bit...had them going to the Elite 8 but otherwise no big worries for me

I picked Villanova. But then again, I picked Vandy... and Drake...
Anyway, going back to that UConn game... wow. I realize Price was out, but they still should have won that game. I mainly blame it on Thabeet. Had he taken over there late, he could have fouled out Pomere much earlier and they could have very easily pulled away. It's hard to watch him sometimes.
It was fun for a moment when they had my region flipping back and forth between the Hoyas and the Huskies so I could watch Hibbert and Thabeet. I admired the fact that of the two, at least Hibbert makes the effort to go for rebounds, but he's just far too weak to get position. Probably the most impressive thing Thabeet showed me was his touch on free throws.
I hope Duke somehow pulls the shocker and takes down WVU. Not sure how that'll happen though. WVU is so much taller.
And I pray K-State will take out Wisconsin. I'm hoping Beasley and Walker can get the Badger Big's in foul trouble before they themselves get into any.
But Stephen Curry is a freak. I think that the Hoyas' front line is way too large for them though, so barring another outburst by Curry, they probably won't pull the upset.

Haha. That Beasley segment was weird. That Sponge Bob pinata was making me laugh for some reason.

Well, many people hate Duke (and you possibly as well), but even still, most don't hold this Duke team in high regard biased or not. And, most didn't think they deserved a 2 seed. But especially after how the two teams played in the first round, few people are actually expecting Duke to win this game. That's how I'd see it anyway. If that wasn't the case, I'd be awfully surprised.

Well being a UNC fan, I kind of don't like Duke ;) It's not a great team since they don't have a post presence, but they can go shot for shot with any team in the country. I think they played well enough to get a 2 seed and I expect them to win today, but if they don't, I won't shed a tear.

Kansas State should beat Wisconsin today. They are just too athletic not to beat Wisconsin.

Absolutely no one is giving Wisconsin any credit... I think they're the sort of team that can make a run.

Marcus Landry will be defending Bealsey and he can match him athletically. Flowers will guard Bill Walker so the Badgers can defend their best two players.
