Why isn't Robert Johnson ranked?

Robert Johnson free safety from Utah

6'2 200lbs

Ran 21.65 seconds in the 200m so he's got speed

3 INT in 07

4 INT in 08

and he's got 5 INT so far in 09

He's got size, speed, ballskills, and is a 3 year starter. So why isn't he even ranked?

It's a deep class, IMO. Sometimes guys get overlooked, doesn't mean they can't play.

I absolutely agree. I watched him play earlier this year, and he's got excellent speed, range, and ball skills.

Very underrated prospect. Level of competition may be a concern. He could be a nice steal.

Maybe because the rankings haven't been updated in awhile and he's overachieving with his play right now?

How is he overachieving though? He's been playing like this for 3 years now and he's only getting better. Sean Smith and Paul Kruger both went in the 2nd round last year from Utah. Koa Masi is ranked 13th among all DEs and he's never even had 5 sacks in a season (he has 3 so far this year I believe), so players from Utah aren't that overlooked (except in Johnson's case)

There are 27 safeties ranked so far...Robert Johnson deserves to be at least one of them.
