How much does Zach Allen compare to former Florida State and current Tenessee TE Brandon Warren? Both seem to be about the same size 6'2" 220? Warren had a big impact for FSU his freshman year. Seems like a comparable player to Allen?

Not a bad comparison. Warren was a freak athlete just Allen. I think Warren was built a little thicker and was a little slower while Allen is leaner and faster.

BTW I just watched 2 tapes of Brian Robinson and he's insane in run support. How does it look with him? I really wanna see us lock down STA...I'm really high on Riggs, Robinson and Bernard, and Joyner and Linder are obviously major targets.

Wuts our chance with LB Michael Taylor. Very impressive tape. Sounds like hes got very high interest in Miami. Sounded like in his last interview it wud be between Miami and Georgia, but another interview he was talking about USC, LSU and G.T.

Is that the GA linebacker who grew up on the westcoast or something like that? If so I heard on ESPN that he wants to go to USC (was a fan when he was young). I don't think he'll get a USC offer (USC is recruiting enough small/fast lb/s tweeners).

Was out at the Grove last nite.

Damien Berry, Josh Holmes, Joe Joseph, Vaughn Telemaque, Brandon Harris, DeMarcus Van Dyke, Marcus Forston, CJ Holton, Davon Johnson, Taylor Cook all at the Grove last night hanging with a potential late addition to the roster that I was told by my buddy is being kept under lock and key until its official. Yall are gonna get excited for this if it goes thru.

BTW....what a difference a year makes. These kids are all huge. They look massive. The weight training has done them well. Harris, DVD, Johnson, Maque are all very well filled out. Harris and Maque are extremely thick this year and look like they can take a beating.

Big Boom isnt a ball of mass anymore. He looks slim and strong. All the baby fat is gone.

Only soft looking guys where Joe Joseph (just really big and soft) and Taylor Cook (needs alot of work, skinny and awkward.)

My expectations went up some after seeing how much more physically prepared the players look this year.

LB Michael Taylor now has us 2nd to GA, said he hasnt been to Miami yet tho. Hes not originally from GA so he might night feel the need to stay close to home. I expect to land him in the end.

LB Shaun Lewis said he grew up a fan of Mia and Texas. Says were recruiting him real hard. Says he wants to get away from home. I dont think we can get him, but we have to get 1 surprise guy that nobody expects, especially since we didnt have 1 last year.

These 2 along with Luc and Cornelius and wel be loaded at LB. I think 4 LB's is the perfect number, especially with all the talent their this year.

Dnt think we are taking 4 LBs. 3 is what Hurtt had said earlier and u can usually hold him to it.

Not sure what to make of Michael Taylor just yet. Weve been on him for while but his interest is pretty sudden. I wouldnt put our chnaces with him at any better then say a Chase Williams.

BTW....Id be worried about Luc and FSU. He is far from a guarantee for us.

Only sure thing at LB IMO seems to be Tyrone Cornelius.

What a joke thoe guys are. Seriously, ya'll know I dont get any big information, just a little nugget here or there but nothing earth shattering. Thats why I love it here, weve gotten like 4 posts on it and moved on to LB talk. That Htown dude took it straight over to rivals and suddenly its one of the highest rated threads with tons of wild guesses. They are clueless.

Cant believe that 2-3 little lines in my huge post caused such a hug stir over there. Unbelieveable.

Guys this news is probably about as big as Sam Shields switching positions. Its really not a big deal. Just kinda cool and interesting.
