Really not a surprise move at all. You've got Brown and Hill starting, Bartell holding down the nickel back job, Wade was just drafted and will likely start out as the #4 guy, and then the Rams have Walls and Rumph signed to cheap one year deals. No reason to keep Butler at his $2 million salary.

we dont need him i thought this might happen and i didnt expect him to move to Saftey or anything or if they would trade him

Another good move to free up money. With all of Butler's injury I thought he would have been gone along time ago.
