One of my bosses added me earlier in the summer, so I've been trying not to say anything too negative about work....

But that is really ******** to 'forget' you friended your boss and then talk a lot of **** on him....wow.

I had a bunch of other coworkers as friends and I knew he had one, so it was only a matter of time until he friended me and then what do you say if you don't accept him and he asks?

I wanted to make him a restricted friend or whatever it's called, but forgot. He doesn't seem like one to care about the various drunken pictures of me on there, and I'm just careful not to **** talk work too much.

It's stuff like that that leads me to believe that Darwin really was more dead on than we thought. Natural selection exists in all aspects of life(not even just reproduction), and nature really does weed out the true idiots among us as life takes its course.

I'm more inclined to think that thanks to all the technological developments, natural selection no longer applies to humanity, which can be a scary thing.

I was at a mall once a few years ago and saw this huge couple with two normalish looking kids and I just sat there and thought wow....those kids are doomed.

I don't think it applied because people who would normally not have mated or would have been killed off easily are allowed to not only survive thanks to society but thrive.

Humanity has beaten nature back into it's own corner and it's going to take something wild for it to fight it's way back......it's scary.

We're even beating that back as a society. In the past 100 years we've stamped out countless diseases and found ways to at least prevent lots more.

lmao...I remember reading that one. I've actually never called in sick and I'm the first person they call to cover for OT when someone else does. Probably helps that I'm only part-time even though I get 40 hours, lol...I have to actually be there to earn money, if I call off sick I don't get anything. Now if I were full-time where you get paid sick days, I'd take advantage of that a few times I'm sure.
