With as many times as I've been psyched out by the cart return stall, I'm kinda glad some redneck and/or lesbian decided to park in it.
The Petrino gif and situation makes me happy. As a human being.

The Petrino situation should make us all really contemplate the likelihood of karma... if you hadn't already...

That means it can't be long before something bad happens to Nick Saban.

To WCH, I believe he was crossing a bridge so he had to ride on the bridge. Hence the, "use full lane" sign.

There are two walkways right there, you can see them in the video. And they open up right at the intersection where the guy started from. Doesn't excuse the driver for hit and run, but the bicyclist is equally as stupid, IMO.

the law is made for him to ride on the street and not where people walk on the sidewalk. He has the lawful right to ride on the street. I think there is something against them riding on the sidewalk.

Maybe he was on a time-crunch and couldn't walk his bike across the adjacent sidewalk. He still could have been clever enough to stay to the far right side of the lane. Like I said, cars are heavy, and fast. They have a lot of momentum, and they hit you they can deliver a large force. What's more, a lot of drivers aren't very good. Some of them are very bad, in fact. They do stupid things like crash into buses and pull out in front of fast-approaching traffic. Some of them drive while they're drunk or text while they're driving. I had one friend who would tell me "take the wheel" and then she would sprawl into the backseat of the car to grab something out of her purse (and this wasn't a one-time thing, she did this frequently).
I'm not saying that the guy should be applauded for hitting the cyclist, and I think the bus driver should be applauded for stopping his getaway attempt. I'm also not saying it's the cyclists fault (it's obviously not, and legally had every right to take up the full lane). But if you're on foot or bike, you have to be smart enough to do everything in your power to stay the hell out of the way of the 4000 pound hunk of machinery being maneuvered at relatively high-speed by somebody who may in fact be a legitimate idiot.

IDGAF what the law says lol. Yes he had the right to take up an entire lane. But COMMON ******* SENSE for me would be to think, look, two alternative options that keep me out of the way of objects that could easily run me the **** over and kill me. I think I'll take the sidewalk 100 times out of 100, especially on that bridge.
And if I would have a cop start giving me **** about riding on the sidewalk at that bridge, I'd probably end up getting arrested, because I would have a similar freakout to him.
Also, rant isn't not directed at you, at all, lol, just unfortunate timing, haha.

When I'm on a bike or walking this, is my mentality. Obviously drivers SHOULD have that mentality about others, we know that doesn't happen though. If you don't seem to give a **** about getting hit, while you are on the road, you may (shockingly !!!) get hit by a car.

QFT. Why don't you guys have designated cycling lanes? I bike to school and I don't have to drive on the road for more than a few hundred yards out of a combined distance to school of around 3 miles. Not having designated lanes for cyclists is just plain dumb, especially in larger cities..

Sharing the road goes for bikes too, not just cars, Wooty. And in that video, the driver who hit them was passing the VW, didn't see the cyclist, and went back into the right lane and hit them. It wasn't a case of someone not willing to move over, it was someone not paying attention. And when you're on a bike taking up 8 times more room than you really need to, things like that can happen.

some places with heavy traffic like big cities have them, but drivers are usually a holes and drive on them.
They have designated lanes, just no everywhere.
Sometimes bikers are a holes as well, like weaving through cars, not stopping at red lights, cause you can fall from your fixy speed bike if you stop.

Of course there are assholes on both sides.. Idk how you're doing it, but we have them like an extra sidewalk, just paved. That way we're a bit away from the traffic and it's so narrow that even if a car wanted to mount the curbe it's too wide for the designated lane. What I saw in that video was a guy using his right to cycle on a bridge. Was it really necessary to take up a full lane? No. But the idiot driving should've just driven around him and forgot about it.

I think the bus actually blocked the view and the car wasn't paying attention to the road. But still the car driver is an ass for driving away after that.

**** yes. Thank you. I live in a big college town and HATE driving downtown near campus because the bicyclists and pedestrians are ******* morons.
They obey exactly zero rules of the road and have gone so far beyond the point of "sharing" the road that they've virtually taken it over.
Society treats bicyclists like they're the ****. "Oh look at you, caring about your health and the environment!"
Bull ******* horse **** ****. There are two types of people who ride bikes for non-pleasure:
1.) Those who can't afford cars.
2.) Those who live close enough to where they work or go to school that they can.
I'm neither. And when some asshat bicyclist decides to ride 2/3 of the way into my line, I get pissed. You can't always "just pass him" if there is oncoming traffic and GOD ******* FORBID you hit him. You might as well just get the **** out of your car and shoot him in the head until you empty your gun BECAUSE YOU WILL GET IN SOME SERIOUS ******* **** TROUBLE if, by god, you hit a bicyclist with your car.
The ones who ride out in the road that just don't give a **** deserve to be hit. They're arrogant assholes who feel like they're better than everyone else.
You may have timed your trip so that you're going to arrive on time by riding your bike there. I'm in my car. I timed my trip to get to where I need to go in my car. Following your ******** ass going 30 below the speed limit was not part of the plan.
And who the **** thought it would be a good idea to stick bicyclists in the road? The odds of a death occurring because a bicyclist is riding on a sidewalk are about .001% of what they are when you put that bicyclist in the same space with two ton chunks of metal going much, much faster.
Oh and now you're going to berate me about how terrible of a person I am for feeling this way. **** you and your bicycle. I'll shove those handlebars right the **** up your ass. I've come too god damn close to hitting moronic bicyclists too many times in this town to give a flying **** anymore.
