They look like they'd be a great food substance... but lets be honest here, they totally look like something else when you first see them.

Admittedly, at first I thought "*****", but almost immediately after, I thought they look more like intestines.

I thought of the rubber worm fishing lures.
I loved fishing when I was a kid....haven't fished since I turned old enough to need a license though.

I used to work with a guy who was in the army and was in the south Pacific somewhere...forget exactly where he said...Apparently, the thing to do was take new guys to a local restaurant that served dog and not tell them what it was.
He said it was chewy and similar to venison. He also ate monkey.

I have eaten dog, mouse and squirrel. It's no big deal.

Squirrel sucks. Goat, Alligator, Ostrich, and Elk are all delicious. But the worst meat ever? Dingo. As a lifelong dog owner, I could never eat dog. Also, my brother had dingo meat one time (which is just a wild dog). It smelled like rotten dick and he told me it tasted even worse.

I loved Alligator and Ostrich. I tried to order Turtle Steak when I was in the Bahamas, but they didn't have any in stock (out of season, or something).
Frog Legs don't taste a damned thing like chicken. Not the ones I had, anyway. They were flavorless.

I had coyote and bear at a "wild game dinner" at my dad's sportsman's club. Just a little of each. The coyote was really gamy, like a chewier rabbit. The bear meat was kind of...for lack of a better term...greasy. Like questionable meat you'd find in a stew. Again, really gamy and kind of chewy despite being oven roasted.
Elk is pretty much amazing. Like deer on steroids.

I had frog legs for the first time on the cruise I just went on. I loved them. But yeah, they didn't taste anything like chicken. To me, they had the flavor of a very mild fish, similar to Mahi Mahi.

Yeah, I've eaten a multitude of wild game. I have to admit, dingo has eluded me.
