I've been waiting for a price drop, hoping it would be before Madden in August. It is. Great news to all potential PS3 owners. The drop is $100.

Hopefully a 360 price drop is to follow. I just have the feeling that if I get one now a drop will follow right after I already bought it.

They need this horribly. It looks like June was yet another month under 100 K in sales, and they just can't continue on like they are. It's a wise move, but honestly, a $100 price drop still leaves it at $500, while the 360 is at $400, so I dunno how much better the PS3 will do.

Let's see what goes down at E3.

Nice too see but im not buying it until its at 400. I want to play madden and hearing that xbox360 gonna run at 60FPS to PS3 being at 30FPS, i rather have Xbox360.

Do you know what they're gonna show for the 360? All i heard about was Dead Rising 2.

PS3 related... i hear Heavy Rain is going to be an exclusive title...not too happy w/ that. Heavy Rain/God of War 3 the reasons why, I will eventually need a PS3.

Not so much. The press conferences are about the same. What they saved money doing is all the booths and whatnot, because they are letting in about a tenth of the people.


Seriously, news wise, you'll barely tell the difference between this year and last. Unless, of course, you generally get your info from random kids blogs who would manage to get into E3 until now.

I agree I just don't think we're going to see those amazing presentations that we've seen in the past. I loved watching those video of the huge screens showcasing video games as the developers stood on the stage and walked you through it.

There has been a lot of speculation, and 90% of it is/was BS. I wouldn't really feel comfortable saying anything, because it's probably wrong. You'll just have to wait and see. :P

And yeah, I agree Moses, that part was cool. But, I get to see all the trailers, and play most of the demos thanks to the marketplace, so I'm good. I also should be able to watch the whole press conference, which will be nice.

Oh, and yeah, Heavy Rain is a PS3 exclusive.

Yeah, I'm def. interested in that game. I'm a fan of David Cage and Quantic Dream, Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit) was one of my favorite games, except for the rushed, lousy ending.

I would love to see some more Alan Wake...Remedy has been rather mum on it...Def. want to see some more Assassins Creed, hopefully they'll have some more info on the Outsider there also.
