2007 recruits vs. 2008 recruits
*Note. I messed up the title. It should read 2007 recruits vs. 2008 recruits.
(Got this idea from the NFL Draft board)
Name an '07 recruit and an '08 recruit of same position. Next person says whos better and names another pair of players.
We'll start off with Ryan Mallett vs. Terrelle Pryor (since I think Mallett's better than Clausen)

Mallett, but I'm a homer. As a QB, I think Mallett is more accurate and has a much more powerful arm, but Pryor can make plays with his feet too. But as a pure QB, Ryan Mallett it is for me. Call me a homer, whatever.
Darrell Scott or Joe McKnight?

I'm taking Darrell Scott. McKnight is a nice player, but anytime there is a 6'0, 204lb runningback who can run a 4.4, I'm taking him.
Julio Jones or Ronald Johnson.

ROJO although Scout.com had him as a DB.
Clausen or Manuel?

I REALLY like Rojo. I'd have him in my top 15 of the past three years, but I'd put Julio Jones above him.
1. Quarterbacks- Mallet > Pryor by a hair IMO. Only because he's a more finished product however.
2. Receivers- Jones > Rojo
3. Offensive linemen- 2008 is > 2007 overall. I like Oglesby more than any offensive lineman this year however.
4. Runningback- Darrell Scott > Joe McKnight
5. Cornerback- Eric Berry > Tj Bryant
6. Defensive End- Everson Griffin > any 08 defensive linemen
7. Defensive Tackle- Daquan Bowers > Marvin Austin
8. Linebacker- Arthur Brown > Galippo only because explosiveness
9. Safety- Eugene Clifford > Will Hill (I'm gonna get flack for this one)
10. Tight End- Aaron Hernandez > Kyle Rudolph

Was already asked, but Scott by a pretty large margin...
Tyron Smith or Josh Oglesby (I'm probably in the minority on this one)

Benn
(I like Galippo more than Brown btw b/c while he's less of an athlete, he's a better linebacker)
Marcus Forston vs. Torrey Davis (although some FLA fans would say John Brown is better)
