Best Small School
What small school (Sun Belt, ConfUSA, MAC, DI-AA, D2, D3 etc) is the best at when it comes to having good pro prospects. I'd say Hampton, in the last three years theyve sent to the pros a pro bowler(Jerome Mathis), a 2nd round pick(Justin Durat), plus 4 guys who couldve been drafted are likely to atleast make practice squad teams this year (Coleman, Bain, Jones, McDaniel)

Hampton is D-1AA. They would tear D2 apart. Grand Valley State is the best in D2.

Mount Union is a D3 powerhouse. They get a lot of Ohio State transfers. I don't really see any D3 school that you can say consistantly puts out NFL caliber players though.

Wtf? Hampton? Hampton would be like the worst team in the MAC.
I mean if you're going to include the MAC, the WAC, and Conference USA you could take over half those teams and they produce more NFL talent than Hampton does.
List of QB's from the MAC. Daunte Culpepper, Byron Leftwich, Big Ben, Chad Pennington, Charlie Frye. Not to mention other players like Jason Taylor and Randy Moss.

Utah has guys like Alex Smith, Steve Smith, Weddle, Jordan Gross.
Fresno State, unmentioned thus far, has produced David Carr, Bernard Berrian, Billy Volek, Trent Dilfer, Michael Pittman, Orlando Huff, Richard Marshall, Logan Mankins, Marcus McCauley, Dwayne Wright, Lorenzo Neal, Bryan Robinson, .......

For a I-AA school Hampton has produced a good amount of pro players recently (Jerome Mathis, who is a pro bowler, Zuriel Smith, Justin Durant, who is a 2nd round pick)
