That guy is amazing. Too bad he'll get moved to fullback.

I bet Pete Carroll wants him to take an official visit to USC for his 4th grade field trip.

wow....i was rather uninterested when i found out he was 8, and i thought it was a little ridiculous to be talking about him at this age, until i watched the clips...i dont think ive ever seen someone change direction that quickly at such a young age, boy he should be beastly once he starts lifting weights...
but still, who knows if we will even know who he is at the next level...im sure they are thousands of better athletes then reggie bush that didnt make it for one reason or another, so if someone keeps tabs on him the next 10 years so be it, but his progression really does look above and beyond his age group

That's a surprisingly ignorant comment buddy.
What do you want to see? Him dominating in the SEC?
He's 8. That's five years away from puberty. Go watch the tape again

When i was in 4th grade I played with AJ Abrams, and everyone knew he would be playing SOMETHING in college, and that turned out to be true; so you can somewhat speculate based on how they do at that age.

Yeah, I mean, look at the way he moves he looks nothing like an 8 year, it is bizarre. Regardless who it is against, he has skill and will probably continue to do this to those kids.

Awesome video and all, but you never know what'll happen. Heck, the kid could end up like 5'2 or something.

that actually seems unrealistic to me...neither him, nor the kids around him looked tall enough to be 13, and im sure if he was, the rest of the kids would be the same age....you at least see some decent sized 13 yr olders, they looked more around the age of 8-9...he's very tiny, and i didnt see very many players alot taller then him

from the coach him self
Quote:
Cody is NOT 8 years old, he is 13 years old. The film fottage you’re watching is from our season last year (when he was 12years). They are of our first Regional game agaiinst Valencia Park (San Diego, CA); and our 2 Pop Warner Superbowl games vs Holliston Panthers (Red and white) and the San Marin Colts (Green and Yellow). We won all three of those games to go 15-0 and become the 2006 Pop Warner National Champions D-2 PEE WEE level (Warner Bracket).
The coaching he received and the players surrounding him were just as great. The prior 2 years, Cody played for another team, along with #20 that first year, and they amassed only 2 touchdowns in those years. The offensive line in front of him were outsized all year, and yet they were able to open up holes that a Mac-truck could go thru untouched. They were, and are, ALL awesome.
In closing please, know that Cody was a part of a GREAT team that did amazing things (last year was our second trip to Florida (back to Back) to coompete for the national Championship). All the players and their families made the coaching experience beyond phenominal. I am pleased, to know and have worked with them all. I do sincerely hope that this serves to clear up any misconceptions about Cody and the rest of 2006 Los Alamitos PEE WEE GRIFFINS!

If u ran like that kid but in high school, u would be going to a better football school than those. This is up there with Reggie Bush, Noel Devine, and Sam McGuffies tapes. I understand hes 13 but its still nasty
