Roy. He gets double teamed a lot more than Boldin. I see big things for Roy and/or Calvin Johnson this year.

Boldin is 6'1 223...Roy is 6'0 225, I think both guys are huge physical WR's...and both are great after the catch, Roy is just as physical and corners have alot of trouble bringing him down, and boldin makes just as many acrobatic, game breaking catches to open the field up...both are pretty complete as far as WR is concerned

You mixed up your Roy Williams'. Your listed height and weight is for the Dallas safety. The Detroit Lions' receiver is 6'3" 212.

I like that Boldin doesnt talk smack. (Or at least i havent heard of any) and his physicality would fit the Bears more than Williams. I dunno if Williams blocks down field but im pretty sure Boldin does. My choice- Boldin (but very tough decision)

Boldin is the most physical WR I've ever seen and currently my favorite player in the NFL (Jets fan). I also really like Roy Williams, who is maybe the most acrobatic WR in the NFL and very talented all around, but right now he is not on Boldin's level. Most don't even realize how great Boldin's career has been so far, he is off to a HOF start.

I choose Boldin because he is flat out SICK. He single handedly destroyed the 49er's D. Watch from 1:07 as he completely destroys our D http://youtube.com/watch?v=k0IGeWL4bjo

As good as Roy Williams is, I think Boldin is a bigger playmaker. And thats no knock on Roy, but a testament to how good I think Boldin is.

I love both players, I think that they will be included in many a "Who's the best WR" in a year or two. But if you held a gun to my head, and this would be an odd question to ask, I'd take Boldin. He's more of a physical presence and I believe he's a sharper route runner. Roy has soft hands and he probably made one of the best catches against Dallas, Week 17 but I am taking Boldin by a slim margin.

I think Roy is more of a playmaker. He'll make impossible grabs and leap way up into the air to make them. Anquan is a very good wideout, but I think that if a team wanted to lock him down (and wasn't prevented by the presence of Fitz on the other side of the hashmarks), they could do it.

I'll take Roy, but both are great players.

I didn't think it was possible to be a homer in a thread about two players that aren't on your team, but you somehow found a way, Congratulations!

And I'll take Boldin

Both are great and completely different. Boldin extremely tough and physical, Williams very explosive. I'd go with the deep ball threat in Williams.

The tough physical WR's are always more consistant and can really be counted on late in games... The deep ball guys not so much. If I could add any other WR to the Bengals it would be Boldin no doubt.

Williams is the more flashy reciever in my mind, but Anquan is solid all the way through. Both are good, but Anquan makes plays after the catch on top of having great hands. Not only that, but even w/ Larry along side him, he puts up great numbers.

deeps balls are harder to connect on than short/mid passes and then running over people and getting equal yardage . just sayin :)

I would love to have either one but if I had to choose one it would be Boldin becuase he makes more big plays, he is arguably the hardest Wideout to tackle that alone makes defense double him because no corner has a chance with him one-on-one because of his strength, hes one of the only Wideouts who can run ever route well

boldin, mainly because when i hear Roy Williams i think of the Dallas safety and think of how much i dislike him and the cowboys. then i get upset for thinking of them and am not happy.
