It's an Adam West impression.

It seemed like Adam West to me. Either way, hilarious

After I saw I am legend, I walked out of that theater thinking to myself that it would be awesome if; when the woman got to the fort I guess I'll call it, there was no one left who knew how to use the blood vial to make an antidote. And that by sacrificing himself, the main character had doomed the future of humanity altogether.
I should e-mail the "how it should have ended" guy about doing this.

I think having another person alive sort of makes the whole I AM LEGEND thing moot.

I think missing the entire point of the story from the novel made the whole movie moot.

Wait, they're really making Hobo With a Shotgun into a movie with Rutger Hauer? That's no longer just a fantasy of mine?

Never read it but I heard praise about the movie from those who did.
They told me the book was terrible... yet they enjoyed the movie.
I liked the movie... a lil shocked you guys didn't.
I Am Legend... he saved humanity. He damn near killed it first though... but that's besides the point.
I loved how he was going crazy as the movie progressed... you see Fred's head move after he was moved?
Great movie, IMO

The novel is titled "I Am Legend" not because he becomes a legend after saving humanity, but because in the novel he is the last of his kind...The creatures in the book are much more like vampires then the zombies, and he hunts them during the day instead of just trying to survive. So much like regular humans have legends of vampires which stalk during the night, he becomes the vampires legend of a person who stalks them during the day. In the book, the monsters are capable of higher thought and are very intelligent, and they go on to create their own society which the main character has no place in. Therefore, I Am Legend.
The movie's ending and title explanation was just stupid.

I am legend was a huge disappointment imo. The trailers for it looked awesome, kind of want to check out the book.

So, going on a cheap date night with dinner and rented movie. I am out to dinner but I want some suggestions of some light popcorn type flicks.

Man, the Sam Jackson/Ian McDiarmid scene in Revenge of the Sith is so bad.

The alternate ending fixes some of that, though. The movies main problems were as such:
1. Alternate ending was actually the original, but it didn't "test" well to focus audiences. Changing the entire premise of your story to appeal to joe blow is just terrible.
2. The special effects were godawful. Those zombies looked like something off the SyFy channel.
3. What was up with the forced God/Christianity angle!?

Yep, I took a girl to the Human Centipede, luckily we had been going out a while. "what the hell did you bring me to?" was what she said to me during the movie.

That's one of the few Tom Cruise movies I have yet to see. I went on a little Cruise kick this weekend.
Mission: Impossible and then The Last Samurai. Both excellent. I just randomly felt like those movies and didn't even realize my third choice would have been Top Gun - a movie that I simply haven't seen in far too long - but I just decided two movies was enough.
Now I have to go rent the trilogy even though I remember hating MI2 (just a couple good action scenes). Mission: Impossible is my favorite.
