Probably because she doesn't play the same character (although I don't complain about Cera like most do).

BS, she's exactly the same character in every movie. She's extremely one dimensional.

The Town is now my frontrunner for Best Picture. Affleck is for real as a director.

She wasn't really the same character in Superbad and Zombieland.

I havent seen it yet, but if you didnt believe that after Gone Baby Gone, you are a fool. That was by far one of the best movies of the last few years.

Indeed, and although The Town isn't quite on the level of Gone Baby Gone, it isn't far behind.

The Let the Right One in remake is getting fantastic reviews. Some have even called it better than the original. Sounds like Matt Reeves did the original justice. I expected as much, but it's nice to see it being so well received early.

Because from the commercials it looks like the same ******* movie with no changes or anything different about besides the actors and language. Even my old roommate who barely recalled watching the original with me started freaking out when he saw the ads because everything they showed was exactly the same. No reason to remake it, wont be watching regardless of reviews. The original was fantastic and I could care less to watch an American remake of it.

These movies get remade all the time, to reach an American audience. I loved the original as well, but a lot of Americans really dont give a **** about forgein movies. Yeah that's stupid, but whatever. I didnt have a problem with them remaking it. And yes, it looks pretty damn close to the original...I've heard Reeves stayed very true to the original, almost shot for shot in some cases. A few changes here or there. In any case...it's supposed to be amazing. And the overall mood/tone has even been called superior by some.
Sure it's a remake, but it sounds about as well crafted as a remake can be.

I thought the original was brilliant and one of the better films, especially "horror" films, Ive seen in a long time. I thought the fact that it was in a foreign language made it feel spookier and more alien as well. I really liked it. Ill definitely check out the remake, but probably not in theatres.

Men Who Stare at Goats was underwhelming, which was unfortunate with that cast.
Last movies I bought were American Splendor and Life is Beautiful at an outlet store.
My friend saw Moon for the first time today and was raving to me about it. Time for another viewing.

Out of those three I've only seen Invictus, and I didn't care much for it.
