See I love how it gives away nothing at all about the movie. What I really liked it how completely P.T. Anderson-y it is. Also got a little hard hearing some of the Greenwood score. I can guarantee Hoffman kills it. I mean the guy is just great. Forgetting his performances in other people's movies which are always phenomenal (Synecdoche, New York needs to be watched by everybody) his own every Anderson movie he is in. In Boogie Nights not only is he hilarious but he brought and incredible sense of sadness to his character and gave depth where most other people would have played that character for laughs. Magnolia is one of the saddest movies I have ever seen and he really nailed his part. He also gives one of my all time favorite villain performances in Punch Drunk Love (easily of the most underrated films ever). With Joaquin Pheonix as his co-star I expect great things and I have always been fascinated by cults.

I think a better statement would be that it doesn't look professional grade. Small things like the Actors names up top just look odd.

Hoffman was brilliant in Along Came Polly.

I saw the Avengers again. It was nice the second time around. Only ten people in the theater this time. I practically missed the Black Widow intregation scene, because this thug was talking on his cell phone right in front of me at a normal volume and I asked him to be quieter or leave, which he proceeded to get up, turn around take off his hood, and try his tough guy act on me.

So apparently Paul Thomas Anderson screened The Master for Tom Cruise and it's been confirmed that the movie is loosely based on L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. I guess PTA screened it for Cruise to get his thoughts and see if he found it offensive, as the two go way back to Magnolia. Thought that was pretty interesting.
Also, apparently Cruise is considering starring in a remake of The Magnificent Seven, which was of course already a remake in the first place.

Baz Luhrmann makes ******* acid trips on film, not movies. Let's not **** ourselves over a trailer just yet.

Can't really take anything from the trailer, other than why is Kanye West part of a soundtrack for a movie set in the 1920s?

Yes. They actually look blended in within the background, and not just slapped on a previously used poster that we've seen before.

That other one was the real poster according to imdb.
Also, I'm in a documentary mood whatever that is. Can anyone suggest some/an awesome one that I should watch?

Senna. Details the life of Ayrton Senna, Brazilian F1 driver. I have absolutely no interest in F1, before or after the film, but it's a great documentary.

SEATTLE (AP) — A Washington state man fed up with a group of noisy moviegoers behind him stepped over the seat and punched a 10-year-old boy in the face.
The man, who told police he thought the person he hit was a grown man, was watching "Titanic" in 3-D with his girlfriend and had asked the people sitting behind to quiet down and stop throwing popcorn, but they laughed at him, he said.
"I got so mad that it just happened," Yong Hyun Kim, 21, told police who arrested him the night of April 11 at the AMC Kent Station 14, in Kent, a south Seattle suburb.
The 10-year-old lost a tooth and had a bloody nose in the confrontation.
