Technically, the release date for Che is January 24, 2009. That's probably why people are not including it on their 2008 lists. I know it there was a limited release in December, but I think for all intents purposes it's a 2009 movie. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Limited release began December 13th or so.

yeah, thats how it worked when my gf made me watch it. i paid for us to get in(big mistake) and i believe i ended up falling asleep in the theater.
