With jersey Joe Martinek moving to fullback, who will be the starting halfback? We have Deering, Thomas, Williams, and Huggins. Pretty nice collection of backs.

In other news, FB/LB Edmond laryea has been granted a 6th year of eligibility.

It depends on camp but my guess is Huggins wins starting spot with Williams and Deering spelling him when need be.

Our WR core is filthy. Sanu and Harrison are 2 future pros, throw in freshman 6'6 Coleman and Shuler...I LOVE it. It's all about Chas getting them the ball. Along with Thomas, Deering and Savon...we've got a **** ton of talent in the skill positions

Speaking of Chas Dodd, do you guys know how he is playing so far this summer? I'm reading a lot more things about the Nova/Bimonte backup battle then I am about Dodd. But like you said Scotty, this team has tons of talent at the skill positions. It might be hard to scerw it up haha.

well apparently Nova has been bitching Bimonte around (which is good), but not much on Chas. I think Chas can be good for us, I really do, it's all on the OL. This team is like the exact opposite of the good ol' Rutgers teams during our big run to publicity. Those teams were lead by a strong OL and mediocre QB play (I love ya Teel, but the overthrowing Britt and Tiquan hurt). This year we're stacked all around and I believe Chas can be good, but our OL is just a massive question mark. Again, with freaks in Sanu and Harrison, both big, 6'6 Coleman and super speedy Shuler, it'll be hard for Chas to mess it up. We've just got to keep HIM up

O-Line still looked shaky to me which has me a bit nervous. Dodd also wasn't as good as I thought he should be. We're going to have to play much better to beat UNC next weekend.

Big game against North Carolina. It should give us a good indication of where this team is at.

Really should be a good game guys.. I know Bryn won't go 22 of 23 again unfortunately but like last years match it could be real competitive.

The real strength we have going into the game is our d-line vs the young
o-line that Rutgers has.

Exactly. The whole game is probably going to come down to that. Our Wr's should be able to do a good job hopefully opening up the running game. I'm still not sure what to expect from our D so tomorrow is going to be a big barometer. I'm a little shocked we're 10 point dogs but that goes back to last year. Should be a fun one.

Other than Sanu I am not familiar with the WR core but Sanu will probably handle our secondary.. Charles Brown however returns this week.

He started opposite Kendric last year and wasn't available in week 1.. huge to get him back but yeah will be interesting to see how Bryn does against an actual defense.
