Cowboys vs. Vikings
Well I'm leaving on thursday to go to the game.
Wish it would have been earlier in the preseason because it's likely I'm not going to see a lot from the starters. But I will play close attention to the little details like i'm known to do. I'll be there for all the pregame and try to log on before the game to give you guys some inside information.
Anything anyone wants me to keep a close eye out for let me know.
I'm really excited to get a first hand look at our young part of the secondary.
Butler is going to put on a show and earn his roster spot...that is my off the wall thought of the week.
I put alot of trust into him and the reports in the offseason now that he is going to be seeing the field he better show me something. Hopefully even get to see him take a punt or two.

I'm going to be looking at the young corners and hopefully Moore gets at least a half. Romo & Johnson need to have an early night. In fact, I'm not sure Johnson even needs any snaps.

Since you are going to the game, why dont you take some matches and some dry paper and see if it is possible to get a fire started under Spears?

If it's the same McCauley that Colt Brennan torched up all day long en route to a 68 point shalacking against them last year, I'll assume this animal is a mouse???

I think only 6 starters are in (3 on off/3 on def). Could be wrong though. On another note, TD Urban!

I think I remember reading a comment by Phillips saying he didn't see Stanback as a punt returner. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Urban has been disappointing to me. Stanback is exciting. Waykins is like glue back deep. Will keep a close eye on ratliff second half he is seei nd a lot of time at the nose. I just moved from upper decl to 3rd row behind the cowboys bench so keep your eyes out for me. Ill get as much conversation as I can but the dome is loud

Missed the first off as I was out. Miss anything good, besides Urbans return.

How does Moore look? I see he lost a fumble. What happened there?

Wow, that was the best pass rush I've seen from us, despite us being offsides.

I may be alone on this one, but I like Moore. I would have a spot for him. He is showing me something.

Also, I feel more confident with Spencer's pass rush. After the first game, I thought he looked really athletic but his pass rush moves did not look up to snuff. I think he can play.
WR's look good, and Curtis looks really serviceable.

You're not alone.

Beaver fans openly booed him and called for backup Sean Canfield during losses to Cal and WSU, and then Moore put the team on his shoulders en route to winning 8 of their last 9 including improbable victories over USC, Oregon and Missouri. He showed tremendous heart, and an ability to overcome adversity. Despite his poor start to the '06 season, he ended the year with an efficiency rating of 140 while completing 60% of his passes for 18 TD's and 7 int's. He went 6 consecutive games without throwing a pick, and only threw 4 int's over the course of those final 9 games. Pretty impressive for a guy who was constantly being pressured behind a leaky front wall.
He's not as much of a project as some of you make it out to be. He's got a lot of talent, and he seemed to finally bring it all together last year. It's not unreasonable at all to rate him above some of the other kids in that 5-10 range of this years class. There are only a handful of guys with a lesser number of question marks hovering above their head. As a Cowboy fan, he seems like the perfect type of guy to bring in this year to learn behind Johnson/Garrett, and become the backup/successor to Romo. He would be an absolute steal if he slips to the 2nd day.

Either way Moore needs to make friends with a protein shake.
